It is GREAT news. Wonder if all the rush to judgment folks who had him dying of Covid at the time come back to fess up.

"The good news, however, was that the malady that sent Johnson face-planting to the floor at Tucker Center in Tallahassee on Dec. 12 was not COVID-19 related and the expert team of cardiologists studying his case had not ruled out the possibility of Johnson playing basketball again. "

Great news. At least they know what it is and seemingly have hope that he can play again.

People have been absolutely irresponsible when it has come to covid. Every journalist should apologize for insinuating it could have been covid. It is amazing to me that journalist seem to be the only people who never seem to change for the better. They just keep getting worse as they rush out information to be first or try to say things to pretend to be smart.

Great to see this young man recover and have a chance at playing the game again. As far as the "rush to judgement" folks returning, dont hold your breath. There was only one person who concluded it was covid related and that was done on a probable misinterpretation of a printed news article. Then there were a few others who used the term IF, in relation to covid. There was nobody rushing to judgements based on what was posted. Maybe that's why no one came back to fess up.

I don’t even understand why it would have mattered if it was Covid related. It wasn’t like he had Covid at the time of the collapse. If having Covid in the past caused him to collapse then... what? Just stop all sports forever?

Trust me when I say that there are journalists who hoped what happened to Keyontae Johnson would stop the basketball season. Many of those same journalists were still angry that the football season happened.
