WR's are a dime a dozen in the NFL. And considering the Bears stink, White may find it hard to get back in to the starting lineup with his contract $$$....at least with the Bears. Hope he recovers this season and off-season and comes back bigger, faster, and stronger next year.

String of WVU first rounders that failed to meet the hype continues. White is obviously just unfortunate circumstances. Tavon has been okay but if the Rams could redo I doubt they pick him #8. Bruce has hung around but hasnt stood out. Atleast they havent really busted, but man Id like one of our guys to be considered elite NFL players

Don't forget a couple more:

1. Geno Smith (not getting a fair shake, if you ask me)
2. Stedman Bailey (NFL career may be finished)
3. Daryl Worley (getting considerable playing time; got toasted by Julio Jones several times last week)
4. Wendell Smallwood (perhaps the biggest surprise thus far)
5. Charles Sims (getting to start because of injury to Martin)

My thoughts on this topic....

Looks like I traded away Alshon Jeffery a week too soon.

Hopefully KW has put some of his money away and gotten a serious head start on retirement savings because it's not looking good for him to have much of an NFL career.

The Bears suck. Their starting QB (Cutler) is a perennial loser. He's a jerk to make matters worse. That team had so many problems. They are probably on the clock for the 2017 NFL draft.

Until they get a qb, being injured is not the worst thing. His best option is another franchise that doesn't rely on qbs like Cutler with no backup and a bad defense. Til then, invest your $$$$ and heal.

Not sure what you really mean here. Why would another team want an injury prone player? He is not going to increase his value on IR. He is on track for early retirement.

And add one more, 1st round pick Karl Joseph started the last 2 games for the raiders and has impressed Jack Del rio and Ken norton jr. things are looking good for Joseph after tearing his Acl last year.

My point is Kevin White got a $10,000,000 signing bonus on a $15,000,000 contract. He has the $$$$$ taken care of. That box is checked off.

He is suffering from stress fractures. Take time, which is the best and only solution to heal stress fractures especially once you've had a rod put in your bone. Get well cause the Bears suck right now and will for this season at least. Playing hurt will only guarantee his career is a short one.
