Someone might have already said something about it on here, but I heard Matt Jones say yesterday AS OF RIGHT NOW he thinks UK leads for Knox after Cal recent visit. I thought UK was in good position, but didn't know how good. Of course, I'm sure he'll wait until spring so many things will change, but for now I like it.

I know people beg Matt and others for info and updates, but that's a totally meaningless comment.

First of all, I don't think it's true. Second, it doesn't matter that it's not true because Matt said it to generate interest and to be positive, knowing it's an inconsequential statement at this point in time.

I would love to have Knox. That kid is a stud and we could really use a top-notch PF. We haven't had one since MKG and Miller in 2012. Everything I have heard says Knox wants to play in the ACC, and we were the only non-ACC school he mentioned in his interview with Jason Jordan.

Calipari is really putting in a big push for him, so I hope he can reel Knox in.

That's a low blow. This kid is twice as good as Meeks ever thought of being.
They look similar.

I hate UNC but you have to give credit to Meeks for losing all that weight. He could have been another Josh Smith. He never even try to get into shape.

You're gonna be shocked if you google Josh Smith and see what he looks like now, if only he was as dedicated to losing that weight when he was in college.

As far as Knox I hope that Cal gets him and I'm tempted to pray for that before bed tonight lol, if not it's going to be hard to watch Duke get him, Carter, Trent Jr, possibly Bamba/soph Bolden and Q.Green and soph Frank

I hope it's true and when this kid decides it's time to commit, its Kentucky. The kid is a stud and is for real. With his frame and skillset, You put that kid at the 4 and you run teams out of the gym. Its true the kid could play on the wing, but if I'm the coach, I put him at the 4 and take advantage of the kids quickness. Most think Knox ends up at Duke, but when Cal gets involved it seems all the experts notice and they start wondering if Cal can pull it off like he has in the past. During last years recruiting season, most had Gabriel going to Duke. You just never know!

Despite what the Crystal Ball says, if you listen to what Knox himself says and writes in his blog, he just doesn't really seem to be feeling it with Duke. If I had to make a prediction of where he ends up, I'd probably pick UNC, FSU, or UK over Duke

Most of our insiders are not nearly as confident as they once were with him

Knox unfortunately will not be at UK. Sucks bad because he's a star. Brain Bowen will be the sf in this class. My prediction as of today young , waters, petty, Bowen, Washington, Richards and mamba. Look for a Kentucky kid to get a look.

What's your prediction as of, say, next April?

So you have Duke landing everyone and keeping all their fringe guys at the same time?

Yeah, I don't question your intent at all with posts like that.

Let's not act like that's out of the question, example...Duke kept all conference Grayson Allen, convinced Amile to play a 5th year via medical redshirt, brought back Kennard, Jeter, Jones and was still able to get Jackson, Tatum, Harry, Bolden. So there's that example and then there is 2015 UK example of bringing people back so exactly why is this so hard for you to comprehend??? Yeah let's question my intent which is supported by recent event lol

And by the way it's pretty easy to understand these things when you check out which schools recruits are favoring, scouts takes, and what freshmen have the ability to be OAD. It's all pretty common sense to be honest

All of which you mentioned are not favoring Duke. That's his point. Only carter. Trent jr has been leaning west coast as of lately. Bamba to UK. Knox is more UK, FSU, or UNC. Only Carter out of that group will sign with Duke. I think duke could miss out on a lot this year.

Crazy thing about Sidney, wasn't he like the #1 High School Recruit by at least one service at one point early on?
Oh yeah. He was the guy to beat ahead of Wall, Cousins, Favors, etc. And it's not like he was one of those kids who just had a man body early or something - he had the whole package. He'd certainly be an NBA starter if he'd have made different life decisions.

Just gotta laugh at this post as KNox it seems is almost as much of a lock as Young and Bowen doesn't even have an offer.
