Ummmm one is a pf/center and the other is a SG/SF . The question is Vanderbilt or EJ and the answer is JV.

Yeah two guys in the top ten of they'e class absolutely stupid to act like they are so close in talent and ability! Wow
Montgomery was rated in the 20s until he didn’t sign yet and flew up the rankings. If you know anything about him you know he is a work in progress. If he comes here you will see. Fans will crucify him because he isn’t what people are making him out to be. He is a good player yes and tons of upside. He isn’t even close to ready to contribute what Knox did this year and definitely not what Knox will be able to do next year. It’s plain moronic to think otherwise. Watch some tape and read the scouting reports, not hard to see that.

Knox even if he was just a freshman again. Montgomery is not that good of a player and is benefiting from being the last big left in a very weak class for big's. We have 3-4 big's already better than he would be next year for us.
the nba drafts on potential and athleticism not skill. plays soft needs to toughen up. we have 2 centers that are not vary good at this point jones plays soft
nick is vary raw may not be a big contributor till hiss jr or sr year.so if we don't bring in a center we may have to play small

The question is what makes you think Montgomery is better suited to start as a Center for us over what we already have? I know depth is good but it looks as though we will be 7 deep at the 3-5 positions if there isn't some surprise departures. Montgomery is a stretch 4 and doesn't have the back to the basket skills.

Like Bagley he has to say he isn't reclassifying so he can play summer AAU ball. All these kids do this and reclass late so the option of playing AAU ball is still on the table. Hagans was interviewed saying he wanted to play AAU ball and will decide later if re-classing is an option. If UK wants him for 18 you will see him make the jump.
When did he say that?

I seen a article somewhere and seen whee he was quoted as saying he wanted to play Summer AAU and would decide after for sure if he reclassed or not. Every big player that has reclassed has done it this way in the past so they can still play summer ball.

Neither, I want a homegrown Kentucky kid who has a big heart and would play for the name on the front of the jersey.

Just kidding, Knox, of course.

(Also, I'm not knocking homegrown players. I'm hoping to get Tandy in 2019)
