Kind of makes you wonder what he's waiting on. Either trying to find a date that actually works. Or he's waiting on another college or high school player to make a final decision. Or the Knox Clan still doesn't know where he's going to school yet it just needs the time
Not to alarm anyone, but it seems Daville and Pitino are getting majorly involved in his recruitment. Rick has some concern with his body fat %, but by the time he's a junior he'll be able to contribute.
I heard Missouri does not feel good about their chances now, since the in-home visits.
Smart money is on Duke. Coach K's pretty good at convincing parents and a player that he's trustworthy & procedes to sell on how he's going to use them, but then he ends up using them how he wants. Just ask Thornton's, Bolden's, & Jeter's.
Of course I'm sure he's spending a lot of time blaming injuries for his teams season long struggles & early flame out.
I never count out Cal, but I see no way he's coming here. Just think it played out a little different down the stretch.
I thought UNC**cheater were in the lead ? I hope he does not go to Duke*. Like to see that program start to have a hard time getting players.
He's doing it through bleacher report on Twitter. So I think that's why it is not a certain time. It's between those days they could release the video.
Just don't see UK for him. Just too crowded at those positions. I like the kid so I just don't want him to pick the phony in Durham.
Scouts are starting to see him more as a modern 4 so that might be what is best for him. Not sure why you are laughing at that.
I think it's funny also...his skill set will not serve him well atbthe 4 in college. He's a natural 3.

Either way, Duke Insiders are confident he ends up at Mizzou which I'm fine with.
I'm not sure why UK fans are so excited about landing a guy like Cam Johnson who was the 3rd best player on goddawful Pittsburgh team. Do you really think he will start over PJ Washington? LOL!!
He won't start but he will be a nice rotational player who can knock down open shots, which is something we lack at times. He will back up the 3/4 and get decent minutes if he comes here.
Yeah, I don't think he can/wants to play PF, but he may get stuck there in college.
Didn't you take a transfer from Liberty a few years back? splinter turned him into a flopper but he turned out well for you guys.

I'm sure K has pitched him as the next Jason Tatum. Fits what the Rat likes to do which is play 6/7 guys at most. From what little I've seen, he's not as impactful as Tatum was.
LOL he A. would not start at pf which is where PJ is going to start and B. He isn't going to be a starter ( neither would Knox ) at the SF spot. Vanderbilt is that all the way. No , Knox will be Dukie and be misused at PF spot. Johnson is going to be the back up SF and the back up SG and he has proven he can put up 10-20 pts on teams like UNC , DUke ect ect. Knox has not . I will take the proven over the unproven every damn time. He will be the 7th or 8th man and be very important.
No where near as impactful. Tatum was a beast. Knox is a good player but not a lotto pick good IMO.
Did you mean the 2/3? We're looking to be awfully crowded in the frontcourt...i'd wager that kid wouldn't play 5 minutes all year at the 4 spot.
That's because of Miller, but I've heard that his relationship is not as strong with family as Cal's & Dixon's

Johnson would play in a supporting role behind Diallo at the two and Vanderbilt at the 3. Washington will make cameos at the three, but it will likely be a rarity.
That said, please don’t condescend our fan base about our levels of excitement, when you cheer for a program that is apparently having a hard time just keeping their non-essential five star players from transferring on an annual basis.
He’s a Duke fan who apparently started cheering for Duke in 1989. That’s awesome.
I want to start cheering for a program when they’re coming off of 3 Final Fours in four years. That’s not an indication of bandwagon hopper at all.
I love Duke fans like this guy. Really going out on a limb by starting up the Duke wagon when they were amidst that late 80s to early 90s run.
