Don't panic. Kentucky doesn't have room for Trayce Jackson-Davis, so he's probably not showing up to announce he's switching his commitment. I do feel bad for the kid. When he signed, Indiana hadn't revealed itself to be an NIT-bound train wreck headed for an even worse year next year without its only two competent players. This time next year he'll be waiting for an embarrassing invite to the CBI.

Pretty much everyone is picking UK tonight. its about 80% Cats.

And for Herro, …..guys, the NBA is a specialist league. He is a specialist. Money from the free throw line, money when open.The NBA spreads the floor and plays very little Defense. If you have a very good skill….shot blocking, jump shooting, 3 point shooting, passing, etc. If you are a specialist, you have a better shot at being a 10year NBA guy than you do if you are a 2nd team all-American overall player. Herro is dead eye when he is open, which he will be in the League. He is getting drafted in the 1st round, and he is GONE.
Keldon = projected 8th = GONE
Herro = projected 18 to 28th = GONE
PJ = Projected 23 to 45th = GONE
Ashten = projected 28 to 46 = Test the water and see.

Point is,Herro is a specialist in its very definition. He's getting drafted. The question is simple......Get drafted this year late in the 1st round, or, come back and maybe get drafted late lottery. Point is he is now who he will be. He is the rare guy who wont improve, he will be the same player this year as he will be in 3 years, which is why he is gone.

The "they don't play defense in the NBA" narrative again. SMH.

Daniels is enroute to Fort Wayne now. Expect him to either submit a crystal ball pick or make a final prediction at some point in the next couple of hours. Prior to today, he publicly stated that he "leans Kentucky".

Terrence Ross was at Jones's announcement, and we now know Jones had intended to commit to UK until the last second when he gave in to the moment. That being said, it doesn't give me any warm fuzzies.

HA,
If I was getting paid I doubt I would walk across the street to learn of a possible commits choice. I'd listen but would not put forth any effort to track down any type of information. He must make some dough doing that. jmuo

He is going to be in direct contact with Keion’s camp for a good part of the day. He is personally hosting Keion’s announcement.

But yea, I agree, what a career lol.

I've noticed that even if Evan thinks its Cats he never goes ahead & puts his pick in...like he trolls BBN.

Lately he has actually. Edwards and some others he’s put in a CB pick the day of the announcement. He waits on rock solid info before he picks.

I spoke to Keion this morning while eating at the Ft. Wayne Waffle House.

I asked Brooks who he was signing with and he pulled out a Kentucky hat.

Here's the pic, although it's kind of blurry.

Don't think there's much drama left. This one has been Kentucky for a couple of weeks.

Agreed. Kentucky buzz never stopped growing, even after Cal and Archie's visits this week.

And then a bombshell was dropped on HOB a little bit ago.

If that’s the bombshell, then i think we are fine.

Out of respect, I won't share what the bombshell is. But it has nothing to do with Franklin attending.

Armaan and Trayce are really tight with Keion, their presence at his announcement doesn't indicate anything other than Keion wanting his buddies there. No different than Terrence Ross (Washington commit) attending Terrence Jones' announcement.

The only thing that would surprise me tonight is if KB picked UNC or MSU. That said I don't know why Trayce Jackson would drive several hours up the road tonight to watch a guy commit to UK when he is playing the biggest basketball game of his career tomorrow afternoon down in Washington, IN.
