Cal is honestly lucky he followed Tubby and Gillespie and not Ricky P or Rupp. Joe B had a very similar resume (1 title, 3 FF vs 1 title, 4 FF) and left for waaay less than this.

Dook ain't making it. They're behind us in the NET now after their 3 game losing streak and are 11-11 with a terrible resume with 1 good win and 3 bad losses.
We aren't making the tournament because of Cal. I'll give you a little hint, he's a terrible bench coach.
They play BC in first round game and the UL in the second round, If they win those two they will be the talk of the weekend!

It’s not stubbornness. It’s his opening statement at his first press conference. Go back and listen. He told us all. Most weren’t listening. I was, and didn’t care for it at all. But he came through the first few years, and brought me around, so he suckered me too. His methods are fools gold, and it’s biting him in the ***. I should have listened to my first instincts, and I would be better off. Wasted a lot of time believing in something I knew deep down wasn’t going to work. Silly me.

No. Beating BC is a non-starter and then beating UL after having already lost to them is nothing either. If they then beat FSU the drumbeats will start up in earnest.
Duke would be 14-12 if they lose after wining two games ? I can’t them getting in at 14-12 . But hey it’s the ncaa , they neither make sense or attempt fairness .
So what you're saying is that if Duke and UNC didn't make the tournament then you'd be fine with UK not making it. That makes sense.
