***** KENTUCKY VS. PROVIDENCE OFFICIAL GAME THREAD *****

[KyLegacyBBN]

Game…….thank goodness.

[BGCATFAN2012]

Our inbound play needs to go.. but hellllll yeah!!

[KyCatFan1]

Finally a tournament win.

[HenryMuto]

That was Kentucky doing the turnover on purpose so Oscar could get rebound #25 sounds much cooler than 24

How about Oscar got double double in rebounding 11 OFF and 14 DEF

[TheBlueMist]

Cats! Nice win, guys!

[anon1751545683]

Toppin - MVP of this game! Loved his energy on offense and defense.

MVP is Oscar.

[kywildcat1021979]

Yes we finally win a tournament game first one since 2019!

[fs-ripcord65]

Has anyone ever seen worse end-of-game coaching ?

[Thunder Mash]

Hopkins's former team made him cry.

[megablue]

It is very PITIFUL that we do not have a press offense. There is no excuse for not having a press offense. You cannot struggle to get it inbounds like we do.

[wccat]

These OOBs are pissing me off

How in the world does Cal and his staff watch this all year and for that matter, many seasons and make zero changes? It's just blows my mind.

[Cawood86_rivals]

The Cal haters were happy for 10 minutes.

Now they are whining again.

Their favorite player, Hopkins, let them down.

You're a pathetic troll....you don't have a clue

[TheExhaustedOne]

I feel like a 100 pounds was just lifted off my chest finally getting a tournament win.

[ukgold]

Basically the only thing we are really good at is rebounding. Is it enough

[MidseasonTweak]

The curse is lifted!

[KyCatFan1]

Hopkins no tournament win at Kentucky and now none at Providence. Sucks for him but glad for us.

[TortElvisII]

@Schwagg said we were getting KU whistle. 5 minutes to go 5 free throws. Yeah

[Crawfords Corner]

Ok, Cal. That stinky nose was funny.

[Kingslayer07]

Hell of a win guys. CMON BACK BRYCE!!

[*Fox2Monk*]

25 MF’ing Rebounds for my dude Big O! That’s my All American and NPOY! Everybody better put respect on his name!

[pauled#1]

Good win! I’ll take it!!!

[ukgold]

good game Cal, how does it feel to make it out of the first round

[UKGrad93]

Hopkins's former team made him cry.

I’m glad we won. Wish Hopkins was still at UK to enjoy the win.

[Rideordiewildcat]

Oscar breaks a records and the damn peacock is dead!

WOOOOOOHOO!

[kywildcat1021979]

Well I guess someone won’t be too tired tonight for the postgame.

[Lazlo7]

So this is what it feels like to survive the first round. I missed it. Lets keep it going.

[permdaddy_rivals45705]

Wasn't pretty but damn it feels good to win a tourney game

[wccat]

Has anyone ever seen worse end-of-game coaching ?

It absolutely blows my mind how there is no coaching. The guys are just lost.

[bbnkat02]

Well I guess someone won’t be too tired tonight for the postgame.

No shots at Cal tonight. I’m happy until Sunday!

[anon1751545683]

Cooley was pretty bad. But the haters say he’s better than Cal.

[wccat]

Cooley was pretty bad. But the haters say he’s better than Cal.

And yet Cooley will be off to Georgetown.

[hotelblue]

that toppin coffin corner in bounds play needs to be trashed immediately.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Well I guess someone won’t be too tired tonight for the postgame.

I hope it lifts the stress and he coaches like he used to now.

[Kycatspaws]

Well Done Wildcats!

[MarkPftw]

I think UK will beat K-State Sunday afternoon. We'll be headed to the Sweet 16. K-State is a pretty bad rebounding team. It's a good match up for us.

I definitely would like some revenge on that Kansas State tournament loss in 2018!

[Patriot202]

Oscar was a man among boys out there. Straight up beast in the paint

[Crawfords Corner]

To quote Jacob Toppin(in the AT&T commercial), YES!!!!
