This year’s Boston is Brooks. Cal’s gotta get him drafted at all costs. Why can’t we have an offense that puts our real shooters, ie Grady, in position to shoot?

Says the guy that lost a ban bet

Lol yeah exactly.

And just because I lose faith in calipari doesn't mean I am not gonna root for uk and hope calipari proves me wrong.

He'll if calipari doesn't play Sharpe and uk still makes the final four mods can perma ban me. I'd be happy as can be to be wrong and embrace said ban.

And FFS, I'm tired of the excuses. Now we're blaming the BALL? Are you kidding me?

And the "first road game" excuse is played out. We have exactly ONE starter who is playing his first college road game, and he's shooting 75%.

Bottom line - Cal runs ZERO plays to get the ball into our best shooters' hands in a position to shoot the ball. Instead, we pass the ball around the perimeter until one of the abysmal perimeter shooters being sagged off of jacks up another bad shot.

Slog.

0-10 from 3

You’re seeing what some folks have being saying about Wheeler. Just too many limitations to lead a top 20 team. With his minutes it’s a problem. No spacing or flow the way that defenses are backing off him.
Cal stole Wheeler from............Georgia for heavens sake....

Yeah I won't disagree with that. Although several of these were pretty open shots

Yeah, except they can't shoot. Grady, Mintz, ty ty need to be taking those shots. I mean damn, if Allen can't even play a minute where we're 0-10 from 3 against 3-4 Notre Dame, why the hell is he even on the team? Just go home

everyone other than our shooters and oscar on 15 footers falls into this category. If our offense is humming and you are in rhythm fine let it fly. However when we are coming off of a few misses they need to realize we need to get move the ball and try to get one of our main scorers a good look with oscar in position to rebound
It isn't even as much about Brooks shooting it's more about when he is shooting. Quick shots with guys still running down so a long 2 with no one there to rebound, a long 2 early in the shot clock when we could have held for the last shot of the half, just dumb plays. He is a Jr. he should be helping with stuff like this not being the one to screw us.

We're 0-10 from 3. We have probably one of the best 5 shooting teams in the nation. That's what happens when you run no offense.

Brooks has 4 boards, 6 points on 3-7 from the floor. Yes 1 terrible shot for the time and situation, but he is not the issue. Cal putting lineups on the floor that have no ability to score is a huge issue.

Wheeler has 2 turnovers but at least he is a PG who will feed the post.

seems every year, Kentucky basketball gets a little harder to watch, think sometimes coaches can stay to long at a program, wondering if thats happening to Calipari, seems his best years at Kentucky are behind him.

Then you want to sit them? Not take wide open shots?
Oh, I don't know.... How about run some plays to get the ball into our actual best shooters' hands in a position to shoot?
Or play two or three shooters at a time so the opponent can't cheat off of the guys who are known to be less-than-average shooters?
And yeah, I don't want some of these wide open players to be taking wide open threes when they shoot less than 30% from the perimeter. They might as well just step on the baseline/sideline - same result.

This UK team isn’t good. 2nd weekend of NCAA would be an accomplishment.

Tyty and Oscar are great, everyone else is blah to downright bad
