Cal was even more amazing his early years when the Kentucky teams were all actually good
His 2010 to 2019 years that 10 year span he was 266-6 (98%) when up 10 at any point during a game.

He doesn’t and he won’t. That’s the funniest thing about the Popettes…they think this effing loser is something other than a used car salesman. He’s just as disingenuous as any other $hitty coach.
Many games like that this season. What exactly is Pope saying at the halftime? I have heard him speak. I understand why.

Mark Pope looks like he doesn’t even care that we’re down 20 points.
Obviously, we just haven’t taken enough data. At any minute I can expect the data that’s been collected to be implemented and we go on a huge scoring run.

Silver lining, no automatic 1-year extension for Pope. To me, he now has a 1-year show clause (because he won't get fired now).
It really depends on whether there any boosters or ex-players who care enough to say ENOUGH IS FREAKING ENOUGH

I’m disappointed. This team was average from the get go. We can fight and discuss injuries and poor roster management or whatever else. The end results ends up the same.
We run poor offense, if it’s even an offense.
We get torched on defense constantly.
Our rebounding position and hands are poor.
Us fans are outnumbered 10-1 because of apathy.
Body language all year has been poor.
We can’t get our shooters open.
Pope is almost assuredly back next year so he better take a long, long look in the mirror and decide if he wants next year to be his last. Turnover the roster, turnover the staff but he better do something.

programs die because of the men in charge. they can be revived by changing them out. but you have to have someone who can get those men in place. no idea who that is in Lexington.
Shouldn’t be surprised. The only thing Pope has ever won was his press conference when hired.
Seriously, how can a Kentucky team be so bad at basketball?
