[know1]

We've executed poorly and are still right in it. No worries.

[TortElvisII]

They are letting Duke play physical and not UK but our point guards haven’t been very good and Robinson is locked up

It sure seems like Duke is a lot more physical on defense than we're allowed to be.

[megablue]

Depth of talent starting to show.

Maybe even lack of … we need a run !!

[IowaMuse5]

Agreed. Can't score.

Butler great for a team that plays like SDSU.

[Jamal Mercer]

Need only 10 more ha

Still need 10

[rob_47]

Yall are freaking out and throwing guys under the bus to early. We have everything we need to win this game except the refs.

[JPFisher]

If college basketball ever institutes a penalty for flopping like the NHL has, duke may never win another game. What a bunch of candy asses.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

Could get ugly before end of half. I think we are just limited athletically.

[Big BlueBeard]

Y’all some fickle SOBs. Give up at the first sign of anything remotely tough. And start running our guys down the road. SMDH

[NoDef]

Going to have to find a dog. Outside of a contested three, we don't have anyone that can beat Duke off the dribble.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

By refs are bad so far. Really bad.

[Kentucky2022]

5 on 8 it’s easy to see

[SemperFiCat]

Honestly, outside of the fouls, I'm not too worried yet.

[DraftCat]

Hate to say it but this Duke team is pretty good.... fouls aren't helping but starting 5 for 5 from 3 may of gave us some false hope.

[mash_24]

Depth of talent starting to show.

No it’s not. Fouls are 9-4. They’re gonna be in the bonus for 10 minutes. We probably won’t be in bonus this half. Game has been played the same physically on both ends. One team is getting the whistle.

[KyCatFan1]

I'm not going to be hard on the team. The refs know who they want to win. Duke being physical and getting called half as much while we are getting phantom calls against us. Hopefully we can keep it close. Need to do better on getting open and not forcing super long 3's.

[Yardeth]

Jaxson Robinson has disappeared more than Coach Klien on Happy Gilmore. We need him to step up in big games. IMO

[megablue]

We are NOT getting good looks !!

[UKSanders_rivals37733]

Refs have taken over enough to get Duke going.

Yep... the Cats have definitely not played perfect on offense, but the lead changed due to multiple calls going Duke's way...

Block call when Kriisa was run over
Knueppel fake flop on the 3

[LmdCat]

At this point the officiating is heavily tilted in Duke's favor.

[CatOfDaVille]

Yeah that will help

I assume this is sarcasm. Maybe it won't help, but I don't see how it hurts. Like another poster said, you have to stand up for your guys.

[IYAOYAS1]

Duke has 4 fouls. Okay

[MbergCat]

Yep... the Cats have definitely not played perfect on offense, but the lead changed due to multiple calls going Duke's way...

Knueppel fake flop on the 3

It's sickening.

[dickieVIII]

Looks like Duke is still teaching the "coach rat flop"

[Soupbean]

Dukes extended their defense and taking us out of our perimeter rotations where we get out open looks. Got to start driving by somebody to start a different rotation kicking it out for our threes . If not they win

[DaDirtyLeb69]

Are the ones who acted like me saying who would create a shot for Kentucky in the half court gonna admit they are wrong

[Noxium322]

Can't beat these trash can refs if we don't hit our three's. Also fk Bilas.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

It's not really a surprise they are getting fouls tho. They drive it to the rim every possession.

We've settled for 3s.........some long contested ones.

[HenryMuto]

Started 5/5 from 3 and now 0 for last 6

[Zuma75]

If teams are going to defend out past the 3 line, we gotta have a counter.

[TheWyldKat_rivals45219]

Unfortunately Duke playing like the more seasoned side right now.

Yes talking and moving good on defense

They def have the better team w better players

That being said if we can settle down and actually get better looks

[LineSkiCat14]

I keep forgetting that it's gonna take time for Pope to REALLY get his roster.. but still.. this just feels like we're watching an opponent that looked like early Cal teams, just faster stronger and taller. We honestly looked like a mid major the last 5 minutes.

This doesn't bode well for SEC play.

[UKSanders_rivals37733]

They are letting Duke play physical and not UK but our point guards haven’t been very good and Robinson is locked up

I thought the same... Duke is bodying up just as much, but no foul calls

[sefus12]

1) Our bigs just aren’t that good
2) Our offense is out of sync and not hitting shots
3) Robinson and Brea doing absolutely nothing
4) Officials doing their Duke thing

[RunninRichie]

It’s over

[LmdCat]

Duke is being allowed to muscle up on Kentucky without fouls being called.

[ala_kat2]

It appears we have a team full of shooters but not very good drivers to the rim. Duke is all over us and in our faces outside, and we have no one who can get past them. On D, it may be time for a zone.

[Bkocats]

Can’t buy a bucket or a foul call

[NociHTTP]

Who is guy with red jacket on ky bench

Cal, learning how to coach.

[ManitouDan_anon]

Our shot selection is pure **** right now.

Dukes D is rock solid so far , doing a good job of p[ushing us out , and out and out , We need someone to draw a double down low , but we dont have it . Gonna have to set rock solid screens and or attack with the dribble . We are so guard heavy , dont have enough muscle
