Kentucky Texas Tech Game Thread

[TFCat11]

Diallo has NO 3 pt shot. Can’t play if not.

[bbnkat02]

Why am I nervous and this isn’t even a real game?

Because it's a real team and the refs are being asses.

[bnewt]

He’s about exactly what I thought he would be. A mediocre D1 guard that is way overpaid.

That is all he was at Washington
Never understand the fascination with him

[Catastic5]

Thankfully Texas Tech has been chucking threes all game. We get to feel good about a win against a fringe top 25 team without their best players. We’re back, baby!

[*Fox2Monk*]

Seriously, has Mom got a shot off this half?

Ridiculous that Pope doesn’t get him 10 3’s a game at least.

[Noxium3222]

Do we really need the ref booger cam shot?

[darkshadesofblue]

How we close out these last couple of minutes will be very telling

[megablue]

Wilkins will be streaky

Antonio Reeves type of player ...

[Runt#1969]

Honestly all us “haters” tried to tell everyone what a crap roster that was overall. You all really think Pope is going to make this group better or compete in the modern SEC? I don’t think so based on these two games so far from what I’ve watched and read in this thread.

yep
all this to beat another fringe top 25 team without their best player

Better than losing. Let's see how the season progresses.

[BCD]

Loved a Williams listening in on the TT huddle

[MidseasonTweak]

Looked clean

[truckbrandon]

That's a tough foul call against mom

[gbl97]

After our loss to Iowa State last year, Tennessee held him to 2-9 for 6 points in 33 minutes. He will be hounded all season, but does not appear to be able to be constantly on the move, hunting shots and screens. We certainly need him to do that.

He needs to watch tape of Jack Gohlke getting himself open looks. Not kidding.

[bbnkat02]

every trip for them will be to the line. book it.

[Catastic5]

Ridiculous that Pope doesn’t get him 10 3’s a game at least.

Pope spent $6-$7 million on a player he has no clue how to utilize. Figures.

[darkshadesofblue]

Our rebounding needs work

[UKWildcats1987]

A wins a win, even when it means nothing

[Catastic5]

Momo is pretty much a guaranteed 3 when he’s open.

[bbnkat02]

MOMO!

[MbergCat]

Mom is so nasty

[Walker34]

Antonio Reeves type of player ...

Wilkins I think will have some huge scoring games. Will win a few games. He will probably be the biggest reason they lose in the tournament. When he has a 1 for 12 shooting night.

[Runt#1969]

finally gets a shot. lol

[Farsight Clone]

Notice when Doom is not playing we have a 10 point lead

[philstat]

There’s been a lot of selfishness tonight, this team is going to be average at best, both FB and WB will have much better seasons.

[darkshadesofblue]

MILAN

[MidseasonTweak]

Wait until Pope figures out you can work Mom into the offense instead of waiting for broken plays to get him open

[BCD]

Takes a broken play but a MiMo dagger!

[bbnkat02]

Last few minutes have been fun.

[Anon1751335390]

Mom is our best player.

Mom, Moreno, and Williams are a solid core. We need some others to catch up.

[UKgrad22]

Starting lineup needs to be:

Mason
Alex
MM
Uzi
MM

[TheBlueMist]

This year's exhibition rules:
1. Don't lose
2. Don't get injured.
3. Don't build unreasonable hype.

Mission accomplished...in an effort that doesn't inspire lofty optimism.

[OldScratchBlues]

Notice when Doom is not playing we have a 10 point lead

Interested to see +/- with him.

[*Fox2Monk*]

MM needs 15 plays ran for him a game from 3. Good to see Moreno play well.

[bbnkat02]

If Zoom can figure it out.....we could be dangerous. That's a big if though.

[Maddman_rivals656981]

"Touchdown"KENTUCKY.....

[megablue]

It appears to me that Mom lacks stamina, especially if he busts his butt on the defensive end.

Duke fan. Our injuries dont matter but you cry for TTs all day. Tiring

[FLBBNFAN]

MOMO!

Finally we got him a look.

[bbnkat02]

He's a bigger guard. That's a common issue for them.
