Kentucky playing for SEC 1st place

[theBlues]

Win tonight and Kentucky will be tied for first in the SEC with Georgia and Ole Miss.

Also, Alabama took their second loss and they had the tie breaker versus UK.

That wasn't on my bingo card when we hired Stein. Not for the 1st year. Amazing if we win this evening.

Coming into the season I'd have been very happy with a 7-5 year.

Tennessee is impressive. That game scares me. Bama pushed our face in that second half and they stood no chance today.

No doubt. I think we win 8 regular season games this year now. If we get 9-10 Stein deserves coach of the Year. He may already deserve it honestly.

[OldScratchBlues]

UT would be tied for first too no?
SEC is just a bloodbath every weekend.

I would of been ecstatic at 7-5. I was hoping for 5-6 and that we would show improvement each week. Stein said his plan was to win this year and he's killing it.

Yeah their defense is really good.

This team finishes 11-1. Not an unwinnable game on the sched. I actually predicted 10-2. I was wrong

Yeah for sure. Think it will be the same in BB this year.

No, one less win in the conference

UT is 3-1 after beating Bama. 4-1 are the leaders.

So I was accidentally right.

Just win the game. Worry about the standings and the rest tomorrow.

[MidseasonTweak]

Don't tell the players that. Right now we're underdogs getting no respect. Use that to our advantage

I thought UT was there too until I checked the standings.

[Ghornsback]

If you could find 7 wins going into the season you were dreaming.

Yet here we are....

It's wild how much parity the portal/NIL has created. Auburn winning at Georgia, did not see that one happening.

I never thought the portal would be a good thing.

The portal decimated the 2nd and 3rd string for the old SEC powers.

A win today puts UK in the drivers seat for the SEC crown.

The SEC website has us 2nd behind UGA. We have 3 road wins to Ewe T's 2. They have played one fewer road game than us.

We are tied at 4-1 with UGA. UK has played 3 SEC road games with 2 remaining. UGA has played 2 SEC road games with 2 and a neutral remaining. UT is half game back at 3-1 having played one SEC road game with 3 remaining.
