100% agree

Stop crying guys. Guess what? Duke, UNC, Kansas, and WVU are not in our bracket. Who would have thought?

Cincinnati our 2? Yes please. UVA and Arizona will be VERY TOUGH to beat. But it's the NCAA tournament and you have to beat great teams to win it all anyways. Plus it's not like either of them are world beaters when it comes to making final fours.

It could have been a lot worse.[/QUOTE

You guys got a excellent draw, the committee needs Arizona out, just to be safe. Ayton is going to get his points, regardless. Just contain everyone else, you guys are the perfect team for that. Virginia doesn’t do well against pressure defense, WV throttled them. Hope to join you guys in the FF.

Oh yeah? Why did they almost lose to Louisville (a team that didn't make the tournament) a team we beat by 29?
Almost doesn’t count. They lost one game all year in the best conference. They are the real deal. UVA and Zona are the two teams I wanted to avoid. Cats can win, but they will have to play flawless to advance to Elite 8.

don’t like playing arizona in boise. they’re maybe the most talented team and were preseason #3. they also have a chip on their shoulder over the heat miller is taking. other than that this was a great draw.

Putting us with Tennessee would be like the committee putting Virginia and UNC or Duke in the same Region

My biggest complaint is that 2nd round game. That's a sweet 16 matchup. Two P5 conference champs meeting in the second round. That's laughable. Sound familiar? It's 2016 all over again.

Outside of that, UVA is going to be a ridiculously hard game for us.
If UVA is still in it.

How many teams played in a conference tournament on Sunday and get scheduled to travel out west, and have a early turn around on Thursday?

My biggest complaint is why is Kentucky playing in Freaking Boise,Idaho while in the South Region? That's BS and as usual UNC gets to play in Charlotte,North Carolina

First weekend pod has nothing to do with what region you're in, been that way for 16 years now. If you're not a top 4 seed, you're probably not going to get close-to-home treatment. Arizona, as the 4, got put in Boise and we ended up as their 5.

BBMist won’t show for Boise is my guess

That's what I am afraid of. We don't always have a great opening round when it isn't close by since a lot of fans go to the SEC Tournament and spend money there. Who wants to go to Boise? Our luck a blizzard will hit there.

Hawk, I'll be pulling for you guys to come out of your region as I much prefer it to be you guys than Duke. Best of luck to you.

The issue that I have is that the bracket was clearly orchestrated to set up Arizona and UK in the 2nd round. Otherwise, it makes no sense. The East certainly isn't Arizona's natural geographic region, so you can't use that excuse. With that off the table, you have to accept that Arizona was considered the WORST of the 4 seeds. That's the only way they end up with the No.1 overall seed on the S-curve is to be the worst 4. That's just ridiculous if you match them up with Auburn, Gonzaga and Wichita St.

We should be playing Gonzaga or Wichita St. If you put one of those two teams there instead of Arizona, things look a WHOLE lot different.

Absolutely. Lol, we have a ten loss team almost ALL of us complained.About all year.
The Cats earned that 5 seed....not enough quadrant 1 wins compared to losses. Compared to the way this team was playing twelve games ago, we got a really fair draw this year compared to others.
If we go out, then there we go. Just go out swinging.

The draw isn't bad and going in to the season I did not expect to make a deep run.

We have a shot at the Final Four, did not expect that.

This should be fun.

Actually the bracket was made to make sure UVA, the as usual screwed
Overall #1 seed, has either UK or Zona is their Sweet 16 matchup.

What other #1 seed has such a guaranteed tough Sweet 16 game?

KU has Auburn/Clemson

Nova has WVU/WSU

Xavier has Gonzaga/OSU

If we cannot beat an 11 loss Davidson team, then it wasn’t supposed to be this year...

If Virginia has to score 12 points in .08 seconds to beat UL, then I like our chances if we get to them!!

Look at some of the point totals they have held some high scoring teams to. They have the #1 defense in the country and it will be hard to prepare for. Very very tough to score against. Worst matchup for UK than any other 1 seed.

Do I think UK got a tough draw? Yeah, probably so. Arizona is ridiculously hard game in the second round. But I also know Miller and Bennett aren’t exactly stellar in the NCAA tournament either. I do like playing in Catlanta if we make the Sweet 16.

As a UL fan you can say that all you want, but we played terrific and they played poor and they found a way to win. They went to Cameron Indoor an beat Duke and beat UNC twice. Unless you are shooting the lights out you are in some trouble. And if you don’t play good defense they will score at will on you. They just don’t play a ton of possessions so that’s why it seems they can’t score. Guy and Jerome are terrific shooters and they have size and are very physical and somehow don’t foul. But whatever you say.

And we beat the 2 teams that beat them. You can play what ifs all day.
If both teams play well, I like our chances. If we don't play well, I don't. That's the thing with this UK team, you just cant know for sure what they are going to do.

And if we get there, it will be Atlanta....UK fans will pack that place.

You have a team peaking at the right time (nice win over Tenn. by the way) and an excellent tournament coach going up against less than excellent tournament coaches.

After watching KY lately, I can say that I’m glad you folks are on the other side of the bracket.

Maybe I am wrong in my opinion, but I'm just not impressed with Arizona at all.
They have great talent, but they don't play well as a team at all.
They're very Vanilla, they don't do anything that jumps off the page at you other than some individual plays here and there and I don't think Miller is a very good coach.
I think UK beats Arizona and that's if Arizona gets past Buffalo, they could lose that game.
In addition, look at the PAC12, it's really bad, but Arizona struggled to score on bad teams.heck, they struggled with USC, an NIT team, in their conference title game.

Now Virginia, let's just say I'm glad Cal has a week to prepare for them. They've only lost 2 games all season for a reason. They good.
