To be fair, this is a rally difficult match-up for a young team like UK. I know, I know...NAIA. Dont let that fool you. This team is really good. Exceptionally athletic, and quick. UK frosh have never seen speed like this.

You are correct. UK has 5* talent with 1 star coaching and preparedness.

SMH. A rock fight with a NAIA GT team, albeit a GOOD NAIA team.

Letting them dictate the game in our arena. If Cal fails with this group, it's time to fire his *** with prejudice. Or the attendance we see tonight will be normal or regular season games.

Gah, can't believe I'm griping in a preseason game. I'm just fed to the teeth with his AWFUL offense.

I stayed out of the game thread during the half... but what are some of you thinking?? FFS. You thought an incomplete, young Cal coached team was gonna run Georgetown out of the gym in their first 20 min of basketball?? I mean, it wasn't pretty. But I'm not sure why so many are surprised or melting down. It'll be alright folks. I saw a pretty good squad that just isn't ready yet out of the gate. It'll be ok.

Its just not how CBB works, at this level. The speed of the game is just different. And when you factor in these are freshman, seeing this type of speed for the first time---I mean, well you see what happens. GTown has these guys sped up, and it shows.

They'll adjust, adapt to the speed. Kids arent used to dudes being able to close out on them like this...or jump passing lanes so quickly...

Speed is a monster.

EDIT---Do not let "NAIA" fool ya, man. First off the Mid-South is a GREAT baskjtball conference, littered with D1/2 talent; especially in baseball. NAIA is not the NCAA. Rules are diffeent. Its why you see legit D1 talent, playing at the NAIA level, due to...

Grades, admissions, transferring, etc...

there is some legit talent in the NAIA ranks. I worked college baseball game few years back at Cumberland---they had 4 dudes who had originally signed with SEC schools. One with LSU. Filthy.

We’ve have all seen this movie before that’s what is frustrating, gtown is getting to the rim whenever they want, and is out hustling Kentucky. Same old crap like the last 3 years

WIsh I could believe that. I've been fed BS too many times. It's WAAAY past time to have another 2009-2015 team. No excuses anymore. Either he wins or goes.

It's getting old. And the fan base is losing patience.

That's what I'm saying. We may get way better. I sure hope so. I'm sure so damn tired of seeing this crap, esepcially at Rupp! I've been a UK fan since birth, but especially so since I knew what basketball was. I want UK basketball. That first half wasn't it!
