Yes- UF is just shooting well. Like they have been for a month.
Refs desperate to find something. Saw Condom shoving. Said nah, we can’t take him out.
Keep it under ten at the break and we have a chance. Pope needs to have these guys ready at the start.
They care about basketball too. They have 3 titles.
As Cig showed at IU- a good coach makes or breaks your program.
They’re hitting their open shots and we aren’t. Missed layups and ft’s.
Handlogten has to do an over the back like 10, 12 times a game easy.
I mean with this team I'm not mad at only being down single digits at the half...we got a chance

Proud of the effort so far. Florida is really good, have tons of skilled players and just constantly attack you on offense. The fight to stay in it and cut the lead to under 10 at the half is great work.
Man oh man, too many mistakes. Had it to 5 and went full re re. Forced bad shots. No block outs for rebounds, missed lay ups. Should be a 3 point game worse case. Too many stupid decisions. Good fight, but come on.
Not good but it could be worse, honestly, it should be worse.
Way too much selfish play from a few of our guys, not looking to pass and not making good shot selection. Amazing as bad as we played and as many turnovers as we had that we are only down 9. Rebounding was our only bright spot.
If we protect the ball in the second half and we knock down shots at an average or above average clip we could steal a win. If we continue playing selfish and sloppy we won’t have a chance. Glad to see us fight back and not fold but overall a lackluster effort so far. Too many unforced mistakes for a mid February game.

In this game, JQ would be massive for us. He would get a lot of those rebounds that Florida is getting and he can finish at the rim. That's 2 big problems we have right now.
He may not be the best fit for Mark Pope's system, but he’s the perfect guy to have in THIS game.
This is a Mo D game. Jelly's too soft for the SEC. Scratching my head why so many love him. Mo is the junkyard dog we need.

I know some folks on here are jumping at the chance to kill Pope, team not ready, etc. Its all nonsense. This game is a tough matchup for us, we don't match up with the Gators at all. This has less to do with not being prepared than Florida simply having a lot stronger team than us. I am hoping we show the same heart we have all season in the second half and give ourselves a chance at a monster upset
