Second pitch was a dropped pop foul in left.

Third pitch hit the guy.

How did KY not score in the first? I saw men on second and third with no outs....

They should’ve scored in the second too, then another dropped foul ball

UK would have scored in the first had the ball not bounced over the wall, runner was almost to third and about to head home and the ball wasn't fielded yet. He would have scored standing up had they not had to stop him at 3rd for the ground rule.

Kentucky is just incredibly mediocre in baseball, and that may be their ceiling. The last 15 years has been the best stretch in program history and they have only been to a Regional 5 times in that span. All while their in-state rival kinda became a powerhouse under Dan McDonnell (other than this year).
