The seat heats up for sure. Cal's model is being exposed, and he's going to have to force some of these guys back next year.. because we will NOT have the top-end recruiting class that we normally have.

Question, I truly believe we are effed. If we had upperclassman that were good they would go pro because they play at KY. If we have freshman that are good they go pro. How do we ever get experience? Transfer market?

We're ranking on UL and KU, because they're going on probation, yet, they all look better than us. Cal made us worse than teams on probation.
Transfer market is the only way.
But when you can't keep guys like EJ, Juzang, Baker, Briscoe, it means you only have one gimmick - NBA prep - and that doesn't bode well for retention.

I think Cal is close to losing this team. They look like they have completely checked out and have no interest in hearing any more of Cal's screaming.
Because he won't open up the vault and pay a guy like Hardy.
Meanwhile, all of rivals are paying elites to join them.
So we'll be mediocre again, because Cal can't win without elite future NBA players.

He's gonna be gone in 3-5 years regardless of this season. I don't love what we've become either. But what can you do. We'll get our Chris Beard-type soon enough and we can go win 1 maybe 2 Final 4's every decade..
One more 5 star player was not going to make the difference. Cal can’t coach. Never has been able to. He got beat by a bunch of white dudes from Wisconsin with the best group of talent ever assembled for Christ’s sake.
You'd think Steph Marbury, Travis Best, and Kenny Anderson were out there tonight with all those steals. Totally pathetic.
