He is rushing it. He needs to get his feet set and body balanced. If so, he will hit them.

I think this team is spending way too much time thinking about the game instead of just playing it. We have enough athleticism on the court that we should be a little less mechanical and bit more instinctive. These kids are good players, they are simply not handling the pressure. You would think not having to play in front of large crowds would be to our favor.

It’s clear that there’s a good basketball team to be unlocked somewhere but the team just hasn’t meshed yet and we don’t really have a point guard at the moment. Askew just is not ready. Cal has got to give the keys to Mintz.

I’m not excusing the slow start and am as frustrated as anybody with how long it takes for Cal to get his teams ready but there’s potential. It is painful to watch right now but I’m not counting them out by any means.
