It was really bad. Arkansas with no freedom of movement and hand checking all day, nothing called.

Officiating the last 3 or so minutes kept us from having a 12-13 point lead. That’s the subtle things refs do to control things the way they want them.

Aberdeen refused to pass. No reason that you can’t get a good shot in 13 seconds!

It’s on Pope. I told my wife “he’s gonna go down there and not even look to pass and chunk it, call a timeout and get a good look Mark”.

Mark watched, Aberdeen stands with 5 seconds to go staring at his guy and drives to throw up a prayer.

Would be nice to have a guy who knows how to coach a team like this but we don’t.

The officiating was completely one sided that entire half. Aberdeen was fouled that last shot, Oweh got mugged on one of the last plays, it should have only been a technical on Arky and not Oweh too, they called any and everything for Arky and UK had to get fouled where it was 120% obvious to get a call, etc etc....a total joke. I thought officials just hated Cal but nah, they hate UK. And I don't want to hear "home whistle" because UK has never gotten a "home whistle" like that or even close.

ARK has tightened up on defense and now knows how to overplay us. It’s going to be hard for us to score in 2nd half as well as we did to start the game. We need more from Moreno and Oweh in 2nd half. And, for Pete’s sake play Jelevic more over BG.

Officials are going to let the game go until Arkansas is right there in it, then call every single touch around 14 to go, give or take. They’re going to turn it into a free throw exhibition from that moment on. Which favors Arkansas.

Been doin this long enough to know what they’ll do. They might stop blowing whistles from about 6 minutes until 3 minutes.

Arkansas fouled so many times in that half it’s hard to understand. That black official was legit calling sht for Arkansas like out of bounds and loose balls. The play with Aberdeen out of bounds, his arm wasn’t even extended. No way he saw that go out on him. Overturned, and then mark was basically apologizing to the official for overturning him

Owen didn’t his fir what he did to their guy, he got it for continuing to mouth a flare it back up when Shows was trying to settle him down. Shows was literally waking Jin away when he did it and I saw him ding him

I thought this was the one big game we had a good shot at as If Pope n team would ever be up for a game its this one. Might be whip cream on **** but looks nice so far
