How 'bout getting the bars in State College to open before noon on game day? Do they not want to make money?

C'mon, the bars in State College are rolling in the $$$$ and don't need to open any earlier. That laugh at more money!!! They charge cover just to get into the bar regardless if there is a band or not.

Kent State plays the #7 and #8 ranked teams in the county on consecutive weekends... after losing to St. Francis

Really feel bad for those fellas. Getting their teeth kicked in will fund their entire athletics program for the next 12 months

I believe that we'll be something like 41-42 point favorites. It could get ugly quickly.

Any chance we might play a night game this year? Holy hell, Saturday afternoons are getting old already.

Well, let’s face it, we should not have been 30+ point favorites over BG….and that’s not a slam against PSU, that’s giving BG they’re just dues. We should have won by more, but the spread was wrong.
BG plays at A&M the night of the PSU-Kent St game. Definitely have some curiosity as how that plays out (ESPN+).

Never been happier. Missing the Kent State game to go to a wedding that Saturday night. Four hour drive to Michigan, watch the USC vs Michigan game in the hotel room, head over to some Tavern in Plymouth Michigan For the shenanigans. Yes.

Plymouth is a nice town. Quaint around Kellogg Park.

Some day one of those Kent players will tell his friends that he played on TV in front of 100,000 fans and tackled Singleton for a small gain.

PRICELESS!

Once, last time Penn State played there and got blown out. Uncomfortable bench seats as bad as in Beaver Stadium and Kinnick Stadium ( Iowa ). Totally inadequate number of urinals. Sits in the middle of campus which provides for a nice walk, charming. Their fans were totally easy going while pasting us. Cool town. It’s worth seeing once, for the die hard, multiple times.

Along those lines, very close friend played on SMU the year they returned from death penalty. They played Notre Dame and he tackled Rocket Ismail on a punt return, probably outweighed Rocket by 30-40 pounds. Said he hit him as hard as he ever hit anyone and Rocket jumped up, looked down on my friend and giggled, dropped the ball and ran back to the sidelines. He's been retelling that story for 35 years.

Actually, it might be more like 47-48. Kent is down 44-0 at Tennessee and we're only 2 minutes and 2 seconds into the second quarter.
