I was just coming to post this! Distinctly recall your banging of the drum for this guy weeks ago. Any connection here with us? I can see he was a 4 star from Houston(been good to us) and was a freshman at TCU before transferring to SMU. IG stalking shows he’s followed by Sahvir and Jarred Vanderbilt while he follows those two back along with Fox.
This is a great option because it can give us a 3-headed rotation at that spot with Wheeler, Davis and Wallace, and all 3 are very different from one another which in my mind is a positive. Work in Frederick for some minutes at the 2 and you've got a pretty elite rotation in the backcourt.
Im not sure of any connection with us, just that we need a starting PG who can score like him. I knew he was portal bound a few weeks ago and think he ends up at Houston if not at a top program like us, Zaga, Kansas or somewhere like that.
Davis Wallace and Shannon with Toppin and Oscar…I like the sound of that 4 shooters with Oscar cleaning up. Yes I believe Toppin works on his 3 and breaks out like PJ.

I don’t think it happens with Wheeler here though. Brooks could be another problem if he won’t accept a backup role like he should have been playing at the end of the year.

Sharpe can run the point next year we really don't need this guy, I'd rather see UK focus their energy on some of the big guys in the portal.
Some media people are saying Kentucky can’t take him because of him being 6 ft I say who cares they don’t have to play him and wheeler together bring wheeler off the bench it isn’t that hard

This was me for 30+ years, until about 2-3 years ago. Never ever imagined it would come to this. It’s ok, Cal sucks the fandom out of each and every “real fan”, it just takes longer for some to realize. But it’s a fact, some just aren’t ready to admit it is all.

"Real fans" care what kind of team Kentucky puts together for the next season and want them to be successful regardless of what they think about the man coaching the team.
I was pissed the night of the St. Peters loss.
I wanted to just "stop caring", but I didn't last more than a day before I was back online checking for updates on next season's roster.
I have my frustrations and doubts about Cal like most of the fanbase at this point, but he's going to be the coach here for at least another season, so I want him to succeed so Kentucky succeeds.
If he'd completely "sucked the fandom" out if you, you'd be doing something else with your time instead of whining on a Kentucky Basketball message board.
Agree but he’s not wrong. The last few years have killed my enthusiasm. Maybe if I saw potential for hope and change.

Everyone on this board was absolutely loving this team all season long. We all had so much fun this season watching Oscar and Kellen, etc.
But then we get upset early, and now a certain group wants to pretend the whole season was agony for them. It's really strange.
This program isn’t built on regular seasons guy. March/April is what matters. The past 5 years, Cal has failed and failed miserably at that aspect, also, not winning in the regular season isnt much either.

Kendric Davis, Oscar, Sharp, Shannon and Dillingham might get some interest back in what Calipari has destroyed.
Strange sentiment to not care about the team.
I can be apathetic about whether Cal stays or goes, but I will always root for and be interested in UK securing quality players and teams. Not criticizing anyone in particular, but if it truly has gotten to the point where u don’t care about UK basketball, why are you on a UK message board?
I know what you’re saying but at this point I’ll take players. No matter their height.
