Absolute stud from Flo-Dar Tech (JUCO powerhouse). Played a good bit last season but just couldn’t stick everyday in a corner outfield spot.
Biggest thing? He stayed. He could have portaled. It he stuck around and he looks so good right now. I think he’s going to get all PH opportunities the rest of the season against lefties. If Forbes trusts his glove, he might start more in RF. But I think French start most postseason games there.

Yeah, his glove last year in the OF was a question mark as I recall. I doubt that’s the only reason he hasn’t played as much this year, but I’m sure it’s part of it as Howe and French are much better defensive players out there.
and it’s not like he’s been mashing in practice and not getting to play. We’ve been kinda starved for more productive corner outfielders this year. If he’d have shown this kind of production in practice or his limited time earlier he would have played more… pure and simple. Glad he’s doing it now tho and hope he continues in the chances coming up!
