I really like that kid with the crazy hair, Tyger Campbell. He's an undersized PG who can shoot and facilitate.

I watched him Friday night...I think he is highly overrated...He can't carry Garlands jock
Negative negative negative. Must live a horrible life with the attitude you exude on this message board daily. Same with your post about being home from the game. Never anything positive with you, not sure why you even claim to be a fan if you think our recruits are constantly overrated and our team is no good. Gets old reading your pessimistic dribble day in and day out.

Garland is a PG 6’2 and Johnson is a SF 6’6 not even sure any comparison matters. Johnson is also #7 in the new ESPN top 100.

He was comparing Garland to Tyger Campbell.

Could you describe his game?

I only saw the second half, but he facilitated just about everything for Oak Hill on the offensive end. They put him in the middle of the zone and he either finished strong or made some nice assists. I didn't see him take any jumpers, though I think they showed a highlight of him hitting a three in the first half. He did bank in a free throw, which wasn't very encouraging. I don't know that I ever recall anyone I'd consider a good shooter banking in a free throw.

He's also a really strong rebounder for a guard and seemed a willing defender. My impression is he's the type of guy who is great to have when surrounded by other good players. He won't a huge scorer against better competition, but he does a variety of things to help his team win.

He did swish two free throws later in the game. Gonna be a stud.

Next year should be an excellent shooting team with Baker, Quickly and Herro on the roster. Needless to say we are going to be loaded at the 1-3 positions next year.

One thing is for sure, next year's team will have some major alpha dog personalities.

If he played for the other team, you would know him as "This Bleepin' Guy". He's hard to stop going to the basket and is going to get a lot of and ones. He really cares about hitting the offensive glass and getting putbacks. I didn't see him shoot much, but he is a junkyard dog of a Wing.

Sounds like a guy we will love, espically if his defense is great. If he shoots 35-38% from three he will be a hell of a player for us.

Plus Quade and hopefully SGA. Maybe our best outside shooting team we have had.

If we have five capable three point shooters we will have open lanes and could put up a lot of points next year. Plus we will be very mature for what we usually have. Get JV and Washington with an outside chance Knox stays and we will be ready to rock. Zion will take us to favorite land with that lineup.

We need em. PJ was supposed to have been the same type. Looks like he is starting to materialize into that kind of tough guy. I'm not sure about Quickley but KJ and Herro have some serious swag. A lot of Booker game and swag in Herro. Me like big guards with big games!

You know it's probably very unlikely that Knox would return next season. But based upon his particular circumstances, I think you have a point in saying there is an outside chance of that happening.

First, he is young even for a freshman, right? And I'm thinking his family's situation isn't such that he has the same financial pressure to earn now that some other potential draft picks may have. So, maybe he just likes school and wants to stay another year - again probably not too likely, but it could happen.
