Indiana fans seem to think Archie and his smoke show for a wife have him locked down

Brooks is going to Indiana. Surprising how many here think Stewart is an Indiana kid just cause he's spending a few months at LaLu.

I would hurt myself laughing if Kentucky got Brooks and Stewart out of Indiana as the latest phase of "The Movement" collapses. 1987 would seem even deeper into the Jurassic Age. One thing never said about Archie Miller: Great basketball mind...
Stewart isn't an Indiana kid. He's from New York. Transferred to La Lumiere; a private school in Indiana, thats not even a part of the IHSAA. IU will be just fine if Brooks settles for somewhere else. As will Miller. But right now, I think he's a Hoosier...A couple of reasons:

First, this quote:

“It’s at the front of my mind. Why go somewhere when I can do it at home? You know I’ve always been intrigued by Indiana just because it’s where I grew up and where I’ve always been, so, just the thought that I could wear Indiana across my chest and be a star for them is something special”.

Then this after TJD committed; ALong with Arman Frankiln.

It has an impact on my decision,” Brooks said. “’I’m very good friends with both of them. Me and Trayce played really well together in the EYBL. I have a relationship with Armaan playing against and with him all of these years. I’m becoming closer and closer with them every day. It’s good to have them there and they are good recruiters as well.”

Probably means nothing... Or.............It could. My gut says he stays home.

Allen tore his ACL, you and everyone else need to get through your heads that he is not playing next year.

Allen will probably redshirt. Doesn't make much sense to try and comeback in less than a year for an incoming freshman.

Typical of the fans who will never question Cal's approach. Always looking for the shiny new thing, throwing out the old. Just like Cal.

Always with the same result.

ACL's are old news with the technology and surgery where it is. Pro football players tear them every year and return the following in a full contact sport. Allen isn't JV he will not be babied along as a OAD might be. He has to play to make it to the league. He should be fine for next year. It's 9 months to Sept.. He should be done with rehab and healing in round 6 months. Crazy to think he doesn't play next year with our season 11 months away.

Watson the QB for Houston tore his at the end of last year and started this years first game. So did tons of other athletes. He is a running QB in a league of big hits that makes millions already. He wouldn't have been rushed out there, as he is their franchise. People saying he wont play next year much not watch many sports. ACL's are common, hell sometimes they tear the ACL and the MCL and still come back in that time range. He will be 100% by Oct. at the latest.

Why would he not play next year? That doesn't make much sense...
Torn ACL is typically a 1 year recovery from the time you have surgery which I don’t believe he has gotten yet. Best case scenario, he’s ready by conference play next year on a team loaded with wings and guards. He’s not a factor on next year’s team anymore and a local kid who otherwise would’ve never been offered can’t afford to get off to this kind of start at Kentucky.

Ah, so you went from condescendingly scolding us by definitely saying "he's not playing next year" to backtracking and saying he won't compete because of all the wings.

That's a really neat take.

Are you directing this comment at me? If so, you haven't been paying much attention to my actual views.

As an IU fan, no matter how great a recruiter Cal is (and he IS great) I'll be shocked if Keion goes anyplace other than IU.

Said it many times, but Archie is no Clappy. Not by a long shot.
