New contracts for UT coaches:

Fulmer, who in 2007 guided the Vols to their sixth SEC championship game appearance since 1997, received a $350,000 raise to $2.4 million for the 2008 season. His average annual salary will be $2.99 million over the life of the seven-year contract.

Pearl, who guided UT to its first outright SEC regular season title in 41 years, received a $300,000 raise to $1.6 for the 2008-09 season. His salary will average $2.3 million a year over the life of his seven-year deal.
