NFL defensive coordinators are ridiculously good at scouting. CJ has probably not hit the film study as hard. He was great when he didn't know too much, and neither did others. He made a splash early, but D coordinators adjusted and he seemingly, hasn't. Look at Jayden Daniels this season - even when healthy he's had a much tougher time. Meanwhile, Drake Maye has been credited for his studying and work ethic, and has gotten even better. Kudos to him.

i hate to tell yall but Buffalo’s reign as KC’s AFC runner-up is over.
They were among the best for years but these things are cyclical in the NFL.
The decline has begun whether the Panthers win or lose.

I believe this is going to be a better game Sunday, than I imagined opening day of the season.

The left side of the d is getting gashed. They haven’t stopped anything. Not much of a chance today anyway with Dalton at qb.

We have to play Hooker in the 2nd.
he can sling it and has good wheels. That should help keep the bills at bay.

Yeah I may go outside and find something else to do. I can’t watch Andy Dalton play QB anymore. Yuck

Yep. I’m done for today. A veteran QB should know he can’t take a sack right there.

Leave Dalton on the sidelines.
see what you have with Hooker for the remainder of this game.

Organizational malpractice to go into this season with Andy Dalton as the back up. He played one good half of football last year then wasn’t a competitive QB in the next four games.

I wonder how much of that was not wanting it to seem like they were bringing in competition for Bryce. We spent the past two preseasons giving Jake Plummer 90% of the snaps instead of trying to find a real NFL back up QB.

Yeap.
now we have Hooker, who was good in college and Detroit drafted on day two.
he was behind their QB so they released him.
why not give him a shot today in this game that didn’t matter after halftime.
they rode with Andy until the end.

Great win

Looked to me that Lafluer blew off the post game handshake with Canales and just walked off….

I'm planning to go to the game with the family next weekend. Need 5 tickets - they were going for about $75 each, and I gambled thinking we'd lose yesterday and prices would come down. Now they're a solid $95+. Should have just went ahead and bought them.

Meh. It’s just money. You’ll make more next week. Enjoy the game with your family and don’t have regrets about the little bit extra you spent. Money comes and goes. Time you can only spend once and will never get back again.

Oh we're going regardless, just sharing how bad I am at gambling in general. I thought for sure we'd get stomped by GB!

Losing like this to the Saints is almost a fireable offense to me for Canales. I am sure he will have some mealy mouth way of saying they just have to keep working. I really don’t see him as being the guy to make this team anything more than it has been

Just imagine if they dont make the trade for Young. They could have Drake Maye. Or Caleb Williams. Or Jayden Daniels. With quite a bit of talent in place around them.

And the Xavier Legette trade is another monumental failure. Something is wrong with him upstairs. How can a WR be good for at least 1 false start every game?

He will say ***** BS like "we have to play together. Keep working.. Etc" Between him and Hubert I can't stand listening to interviews. Both are EMO as hell.
