My son and her girlfriend came in from NYC/Hoboken this weekend. Went out to dinner at the Wine Bar and had a great time. They were extremely professional with Covid protocols and both of them felt very comfortable. Later that night and into the weekend the girlfriend keeps telling horror stories living up there. We went to a couple of other places that were not so observant and she was visually upset and uncomfortable. We went to Coopers Rocks and it was busy and she literally stayed away from everyone by 10 ft.
She told us every "fake" reason why we are all going to die. Her big one, was that she just saw a funeral of 4 little kids who just died down the street...my son nodded but later told me that "she" heard about it from some of her friends.
Once I was able to talk to my son one-on-one, he was all excited to be here and knows that the NE is just stupid. He said he has seen people call the cops on people not wearing masks and verbal abuse if someone gets to too close.

It was also not surprising to see so many "Trump" voters out this weekend ignoring social distancing guidelines and masks. *sarcasm off*

We threw down this weekend, that’s for sure. 4 straight days of partying our asses off. Guns, pig roasts, bands, pool party, etc. We must’ve had 100+ people at our pig roast on Sunday. We had a blast.
