You are indeed right. Under Self KU set the following NCAA records:

Consecutive 30+ wins per season - 4
Consecutive 25+ wins per season - 11
Consecutive NCAAT appearances - 27 (assuming they make it this year)

And next year KU will/should set the consecutive Conference Title record

KU has the longest active home win streak
KU is 4-3 against Kentucky under Self
KU has as many NCs as Kentucky under Self
KU has as many Elite 8s as Kentucky under Self

im confused about how to play basketball in the NCAA now. Watching KU play the game..... putting a body on the ball handler is ok....... Yet it gets us called for like 12 fouls a game at least

You left one out: Kansas has five chokes to double-digit seeds in the only tourney that matters under Self.

Since Cal has been at Kentucky Kansas has advanced farther than Kentucky exactly once, when the Cats lost its best player late. Once in six years.

I gladly take the 1 NIT loss to Robert Morris over losing to Bradley, Bucknell, Northern Iowa, VCU, Wichita State in the NCAA tournament.

Coach Cal 3-1 with Kentucky vs Self with Kansas
Kentucky 1-0 vs Wichita State (while being a #8 seed vs #1 seed) while Kansas 0-1 vs Wichita State as a #2 seed vs #7 seed) that one has to sting
Count up the Final 4s in 12 years under Self that be 2, Kentucky has 4 in half that time under Cal

I'd sign over 1 of every organ I can live without right this very second for the SEC to give UK that special treatment that KU gets from the Big 12.

Bill Self won three games against the worst Kentucky teams. This supposed National Title favorite escaped against a team that couldn't beat Auburn on the road. Fortunately, games aren't played on the road in the tournament. Kentucky has lost to a double-digit seed ONCE (LSU, 1986 in the Elite Eight). Kentucky has only lost twice to teams seeded five or more spots lower (example, a one seed losing to a six seed or lower). Kansas has one title since Larry Brown left, and it took a major choke job by the other team to accomplish that. But, congrats to Kansas on another Big XII title. As "awful" as the SEC is, Kansas wouldn't have won the SEC in three of the last four seasons. Kansas might win 100 Big XII titles in a row, because Big XII choke worse than Greg Norman.

I like how the KU fans say "its all because Self is such a great defensive coach" Cal is known as a great defensive coach and yet we're getting fouls called on us more than ever........... Wait... I just heard a whistle.... The sec just fouled Lee out of pick up games tonight.

I wonder if Cut Nets is watching this...... Shaka Smart is supposed to be one of those coaches that always has his team fired up and plays energetic defense............. he's getting exposed big time tonight...on senior day

Wow. Dismantled by 30 on Senior Night. 5 seniors, Taylor will go pro and 2 top 100 recruits committed next year so far. Yikes.

Wait aren't u the team that we humiliated just last season. We just demolished Kansas. It took y'all home court advantage, ot, all three refs fouling out half our team, and a gimmick defense for the so called number one team in the country to beat us and ur here during ur game talking trash. How humiliating for u for us to own u so bad that u even think about UK when ur number one and playing a game.

We get a lot of players out of the state of Texas, so last night was BEAUTIFUL. That beatdown hurts recruiting for Texas, without a doubt.
