Whoever said that Kansas shoots well from the outside, I have yet to see them shoot that well in a big game. Duke will not shoot that poorly from 3 in the second half so Kansas has to step it up. This game is going as the Elite Eight history of Coach Self and Coach K has shown.
Just read where Allen talked about the long list of white guys at Duke who have been lightning rods. Yeah, well don't trip people or take cheap shots and you might not be one of them. Nah, he still would be. Such a dweeb.
LOL, it's not like that is an opinion. There are actual stats you know. Duke isn't hitting either. Michigan went 14-24 in one game and 4-22 the next. It's called variance.
1. With this year's Duke team that was horrible defensively...he plays zone but not just any old zone...it's basically a 3-2 zone that at times is a 4-1 zone. K unvall, Graderstands you can't allow teams to get solid open looks from 3pt line and is content to have his bigs right in front of rim and make Kansas attack to that spot and get them off 3pt line. How many coaches would adjust with this odd of a zone?
2. On offense...he's first priority is to look to post either of his bigs. High-low sets galore and guys like Trent, Duval, Grayson , etc.. get theirs after probing for their bigs first. And their guards are getting plenty of shots...but are disciplined to stick to gameplan.
And is other years that they have their traditional "stretch fours"...they are content to spread out the floor and pick/pop, pressure ball defensively, etc.. Hate him all you want...but he's elite at giving his team the best spot to win each year with different rosters.

Duke didn’t win the ACC regular season. Didn’t win the ACC tournament. All the other ACC teams are gone (UNC and UVA routed) yet Duke is one half away from the Final Four. Things that make you go hmm.
He’s probably the best ever. Like it or not. He adapts as necessary. I hate Duke and Ratface as well, but I’ll admit — he’s the best by a mile.

Look at Kansas' history of shooting in the Elite Eight. They generally don't fare well, for whatever reason. Anyone can shoot well against lesser competition or teams with which they are familiar. It is far more difficult to shoot well when it counts against unfamiliar opponents/defenses.
