Nebraska will have him if they want him.
Those days are long gone … nebraska is a career killer for a coach … has been for 25 years or so now. You’re the Indiana basketball of football. Lance is too smart to take that job where the senseless fans and admin think 9 wins a year isn’t good enough for them, like this is the 90’s or something.

We don't know how well Mickey will recruit as a head coach. Are good recruits going to want to come play for an unproven head coach like him? They don't know what kind of offense he's going to run.

And how do you know Lance wouldn't be able to recruit very well with the resources and tradition at Nebraska?
Well I know how well Lance recruits. I’d put my money on Mickey every day of the week there

I like MJ but you are dead wrong

LL is the real deal. He knows how to build a program from ground up. Kansas is the cesspool of college football but not anymore with the way they are playing. MJ never has.

LL is a proven developer of talent across the program. MJ has at receiver

LL is a proven CEO. MJ is work in process, but who knows

LL is an efficient recruiter but don't if he will be a great recruiter. MJ is a proven recruiter

There are a lot of questions about MJ and the rest of the season won't eliminate them
Dead Wrong huh?

still wrong?

Proven winner?

Frost didn’t even go 2-10. Mickey already has equaled LL’s win total in year 1 @ KU and he’s only coached 3 games. And both were going into **** shows

You'd have to ask Thompson, Washington, Grant, Allen, Drew, Wynn, Mathis if they got a fair shot at starting for a highly unsuccessful coach like Frost.

Ask them if their playing time has lessened since Frost left or if the team appears to be headed in the right direction.

Does NU get those kids without the NIL money? Of course not, but the NIL gives NU a chance to get some real players up here.

The same thing goes for Mickey and LL.

I do like the offense KU runs. Not only did their starting QB run and throw well, the backup didn't run much at all, but threw it well. Seemed the offense moved the ball well regardless of what style the QB had. That's pretty impressive.

I would like somebody to show me a single Husker fan that thinks this is the '90s, I get so tired of hearing people tell us this is not the 90s anymore, every single freaking person I know understands it's not the 90s anymore that is such a lazy take and overused

Oh, I get that feeling just reading this board. Run the ball, triple option, can't pass in Nebraska, etc, etc.

I bet it mostly comes from Group of 5 fans or fans of lesser P5 conferences. The SEC and BIG have the power, resources and Money!!! After the turmoil the Husker football program has been through the last 20 years, I think Husker fans clearly know what decade they are in.

I have a K-State friend who is so bitter STILL about Nebraska joining the BIG that it has diminished our friendship. We used to talk and text all the time in the fall. I never say anything negative about K State (I still support all the old Big 8 foes) but he has lost all touch of reality. I did text him after their win over OU. He is now aiming the same hatred towards OU and Texas (he doesn't even like the Longhorns) that he has against Nebraska. That is a man who is living in the past.

Even if husker football never existed. I sir wish it was still the 90s. Candy smokes , 25 cents Surge, and LA gear . God I miss it
