Same thing happened to us in football this year after Georgia beat us. When you get up that high and lose, it takes a little time to get it back. We broke their spirit, but they’ll be back!

Gtfo we would beat Louisville like a drum again. You have a little success and here you roaches come. You got about 100 years of high level basketball to catch UK so give up.

Well, let me get this straight.

We beat Auburn on the road a couple of weeks ago, and someone starts a thread that Auburn sucks. So I guess that win wasn’t any good for us.

We beat Kansas on Saturday, but now someone starts a thread that they suck, so I guess that win wasn’t any good for us either.

It’s like idiot fans that start chanting OVERRATED win they’re team is closing out a win over a ranked team.
The stupidity in this is that you’re diminishing your own teams accomplishment.

Would love to see former Murray State coach Steve Prohm win the Big 12, not that big of a MSU fan although I live in Murray but Prohm is married to a very good friends daughter he is a great person.

Kev, I don't think it has to do as much with diminishing your own accomplishments as much as it has to do with seeing the facts. Since our wins over those said teams, the only ones who are looking fairly good are Louisville and UNC. Kansas and Auburn are both dumpster fires now. Pointing out facts for discussion on a message board is not stupidity. I totally agree we are looking like a team that can make the final four now. People better enjoy the days that Cal is here, these 10 years have been a blast!

The issue is that there is no need for it. You can do that with every team. It might be relevant if we lost the game, but we easily handled Kansas, who has more Quad 1 wins I think than anyone. Just no reason to denigrate our win because they are now struggling on the road. They will right the ship and then I guess we will be good again.
