I voted for the one season ban because it's the lightest penalty, but I actually think they won't have to suffer much more than a few forfeited scholarships and maybe a conference tournament ban or some BS like that.

Kansas may not be a fair-haired children like Duke and UNC, but they're still from the same privileged litter.

I voted to see the results, but I can’t honestly pick one until what the NCAA is alleging is released to the public. I do think that there has been issues around the entire athletic department for years. In like the last month, both male and female scholarship players have been arrested. This is a multiple time a year thing there.

I agree the death penalty will not be used anymore by the NCAA. I agree with PSU but UNC cheaters should have gotten it.

I think KU will have to self impose a ban before the ncaa to avoid a multi year ban. I also think the ncaa will want to see bill self pay a heavy price so KU better consider suspending self indefinitely. The harder they go on self the less the ncaa will impose. They will lose scholarships and probably a pretty stiff probation period.

THAT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, NO NEED TO LIST AS I ALREADY EXPLAINED. BEING MENTALLY DEFEATED BECAUSE UNC GOT AWAY WITH CHEATING IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION THAT WAS OUTSIDE THE PURVIEW OF THE NCAA ISN’T LOGICAL.

Sadly whatever it ends up being will have been far less than what they should have gotten imo.

The ncaa has let them skate for years. Cliff Alexander, MaClemore, Josh Jackson, the pump brothers...I know Kansas never played billy Preston but it sounds like they may have been involved in arranging impermissible benefits for him.

Really shady tbh. They may have ruined his career. At least they went to bat for De Sousa. Had to know they were opening themselves up to sanctions by claiming Gassnola as a booster to help de Sousa get reinstated. Maybe the ncaa just baited them.

Kansas would need to be punished for all of those guys. That’s not going to happen though. But I do think theyre pretty much boned. The texts and evidence admitted into the trial clearly show Townsend and self working with a guy now classified as a booster by their own admission, a guy that by the rule should have no contact with those players, to secure commitments. That alone is probably more than enough for Kansas to get a multiple year post season ban and a few years of probation as well as show causes for self and Townsend as well as a nice suspension.

I doubt Kansas fires either of them however.

This is all for show. NCAA needs to prove they have some sort of power. They will give KU a slap on the wrist.
KU will have a post season ban next year when they are rebuilding. And then be back in the NC hunt again as usual following that
