As long as they abide by this:

That’s right. The Jayhawks will go undefeated this season. Not only will they go unbeaten, but they will mow over the competition. Let’s face it, anything less will be a huge disappointment for Kansas Basketball.

Because when they lose early in the tournament, as they do almost every year, there doesn't seem to be a peep from them... and then it's on to next year.

So there you have it, anything less than 40-0, certainly less than a title, needs to be brought up on Self.

Since you guys had tons of shirts donated to the less fortunate, maybe we can get tons of water bottles printed up that way and next year maybe duke can supply the Nike’s that say it the following year:))) Somebody will go 40-0, but it’ll probably be after the ncaa expands to 45 games or so.

If KU comes into Rupp undefeated, the place is going to be rocking.

They better bring their A+ game if they want to leave with a W.

sure, kansas is losing 57% of its scoring from last season. but i think their biggest issue will be leadership. svi, graham and newman gone. lagerald vick was in louisville a month ago working out to play abroad. Travis committing to kentucky forced ole rug head to beg Vick to come back.

this is by far the "newest" kansas team in at least 5 seasons. breaking in a new point guard. i see them taking a step back (still win big 12). rupp will be foaming for revenge this go around.

Let’s dont kid ourselves, Kansas is loaded. So is Duke. That being said, we have the horses to matchup with anyone.

I kind of like them talking like that. It's good that monkey is on someone else's back for a change. This UK team has some killer's. I usually don't state things like that but seeing the actions of three or even four or five players on this team give me this type of feeling. :sunglasses::raised_hands: with some of this; :uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi:. I sure look forward to this team imposing their will on other teams. It will not be the other way around. Another team may win against UK but if they do, they will be playing their very best. Nothing you can do about losing in that situation...

They will be good but they have no chance at being anywhere close to 40-0 . I think they lose 6-7 games but win their conference of coarse and lose in the elite 8 or sweet 16. I do think they should be preseason top 5 but that has more to do with not many loaded and experienced teams . Some teams have top end talent with no experience like Duke and some teams have tons of experience with not a ton of talent like Tennessee but UK is the only top team with both. That is why I expect UK to be much better then anyone else this season. IF we hadn't gotten travis it would be different but he put us on another level then anyone else and he will be a POY canidate IMO.

Self is without a doubt the most overrated coach in D1 college basketball. Top recruiting classes every year and only one NCAAT title, plus numerous early exits from the tournament.

No one is going 40-0. Just way too many good teams, and road games are always tough for teams loaded with freshman.

Awe, Coach Self seems to have improved quite a bit. Gold medal vs’s Cal’s silver... He sure didn’t need several years of his system to prove that one. Won the last 3 vs Cal. Good luck this year though, it’ll be one of the best.

They have a really good roster next year, but 40-0? Yeah, good luck with that. They're not even a consensus #1 / #2. Looking forward to our game with them. I wish they were playing a schedule like us, they'd be lucky to hit 30 wins.

Early season victories vs kentucky dont mean much when we routinely have new players. Kansas can hang their hats on that though (insert toupee joke), its all they have aside from B12 titles

Like these that you donated for second place in 2012?
