They're just a top 4 Big East team and ourselves and the rest of this conference give them a God complex because of games like this.

Perhaps the dumbest reply I have ever seen.

I think him referring to "fixed" means not blowing double digit leads in 4 of the 5 conference losses.

No excuse to be good enough to beat #1,#2 and #6 in the same season as losing 5 conference games in which WVU was up double digits in 4 games. Including a loss to Oklahoma in Morgantown and a loss to a terrible Temple team.

That's a huge consistency issue and on the head coach. If this was Dana we were talking about he would get absolutely no pass.

So....in your mind....'fixed' means never losing again? Much less in OT to the #3 team in the country on their court, where they never lose? You need to rethink your definition of words.

The post you are responding to is total BS. But it's not as simple as losing to number 3 on their home court. It was a melt down that a top 25 team should not have when they have the other team beat. WVU had Kansas beat and only needed to NOT screw up multiple times in a row to win. Yet that's exactly what happened

Loss to Tech, there was never a double digit lead in final minutes.Oh wait Tech beat Baylor as well.

Oh wait FSU lost to Temple as well.

Tech, Oh yeah WVU came from behind to tie that game sending it to OT only to lose in final second shot.

Oklahoma State game there never was a double digit lead. I'm thinking you should have said 2 of the 5.

Fans love to hate the coach during losses but only praise the players in wins.

You might need to rethink your definition of words? Didn't KU just lose on their home court to Iowa St?

They have lost 10 games under Bill Self at home.....I'd say that qualifies as "never" losing at home.

And....why are we still focusing on this one game? We are 20-6, and a solid 4 seed right now in the NCAA. Would you all rather us be on the bubble?????? Reading some of your posts, that's what you think we are.

They JUST lost the last game they played at home. This Kansas team isn't that good and we lost our composure.

I am very pleased with the state of the program. My only complaint is that I wish Huggs would recruit higher character players with more discipline. The lack of consistency and loss of focus is frustrating.

This Kansas team that is ranked #3 is just not very good. Lost one game at home in their last 50 games but they are just not that good. Never let facts get in your way numbers.

Kansas is good but..............they deserve to loose to the Mountaineers. I would like to see the Mountaineers run the table for the remaining 5 games and get at least a 3 seed in the March Madness deal. Now, let's bring on the Mountaineers!

I believe he has done that. Do you want choir boys? Is that what you are asking for? WVU needs some of these "attitudes" on the team. Players like Daxter Miles is great for the chemistry of this team. I don't think there is anything wrong with the character of the team. So what? They lost a big lead against KU. It happens. Move on. And guess what, we probably will get another loss or two before the end of the season........THE SKY IS FALLING! [thumbsup]

It will never considered fixed until we go undefeated for the whole year and all subsequent years thereafter. Of course, a little sarcasm intended.

Have no idea how deep this team can go in the tournament, but one thing is a virtual certainty, they will see full court pressure again. Any coach who witnessed Monday's breakdown most likely will attempt a similar strategy at some point in the future. How well they handle it in the future may well determine what kind of run they make. If they happen to meet Kansas again in a tight game, it is a damn near certainty.
