I don't pay much attention to CBB but it feels like Kansas is less successful in the NIL era. Is it at all possible now that everyone can pay their players they aren't the same program? Although they did win a title about 4 years ago? So maybe not...Don't care enough to look up their records..it just seems like it to me.

They haven’t got out of the first weekend now 4 straight years now . I think you are correct in your thinking.

If it happens, Carolina and Kansas will be competing for the same candidates. As a Duke alum, I would love for this to happen because Kansas is a much better job than the Dean-dysfunction crew of cheaters and Belicheeks at Carolina. I was sad to see Hubert go. I have high confidence, however, that Carolina will screw up the search like they did for football.

Sound like Billy Donavan would leave the Bulls if Carolina came calling.

Exactly right. Kansas in basketball and Bama in football are two great examples of the fallen when EVERYONE broke out the checkbooks. Leveled the playing field, although it's not equal and never will be.
