Don't want to feed them but KU will be very good, esp for a down year. Need Grimes to make a big run though, pretty set at the other 4 spots.

He should transfer to Kentucky instead of playing around with his career like Malik Newman and so many other Kansas travesties have done in the past.
Grabbing Grimes and Dotson was a big boost to them. Probably in the 4 to 8 range. Not enough to catch Kentucky who also got their two guys back.

They were preseason #1 last year with a more talented roster than this one. So, let them have it if the powers that be are stupid enough to rank them #1.
Think this is right on the money. Grimes wants to play the point and knows that’s what he will play on the next level.
They will be very good. Top 5-10 good imo. That freshman that they took off redshirt is a first rounder. Dotson played very well and should be all conference along with doke. I liked Grimes in H.S but he had a so so freshman year, should have a pretty good sophomore year since that’s usually the biggest jump and he has a lot of talent.
Early rankings have Duke 2 or three and I think KU is better than them to be honest. Then again i said the three freshmen guys would have growing pains like UK last season and they hit the ground running instead so what do I know

It's one thing if a guy transfers who had no playing time coming up.. But Grimes had clear minutes, and he's still opting to transfer.

I was just getting ready to say everything I have read and heard said even if Grimes didn't stay in the draft he wasn't going to stay at KU LOL. They figured they would get Dotson back. They will be decent but are nowhere close to us with the vets and young talent we have.
According to evan daniels grimes is transferring. Would love for Cal to go after him. We lose our whole back court next year and it seems we’re in good with quite a few bigs. Give me a veteran guard.
Guarantee you Grimes is kicking himself for not choosing UK. He got close to it but family KU won out in the end.
