Was he not honored with the seniors on Friday? I had a friend go and said he didn’t remember his name being called with the others. If he wasn’t, does anyone know why?

Um, yeah he was. He was at Cal for 4 years with one being a redshirt and then grad transferred here.
That means he wasn't a senior. IF you're a grad transfer, you already were a senior previously. You're a grad student. I don't know what the policy is on grad transfers as far as announcing them on senior day. I don't think we've ever had one on the football team before have we? Somebody will figure out a another reason to criticize Frost for it. Hell we aren't even sure that they didn't announce his name.
Playing Devil's Advocate, did Darrion Daniels (grad transfer) participate in senior day?
I think Christian Gaylord (injured) opted to not participate in senior day because he is applying for a 6th season of eligibility.
Could have just been Noa's decision not to participate.
I have no idea. Somebody didn't think they heard Noa's name. From my experience in the stadium on senior day, it's very possible that his name called and the poster just wasn't able to hear or understand it.

You are correct. He's a senior in eligibility. Huskers.com lists them as seniors on the roster. Again, we don't even know for sure that Noa wasn't announced on Friday. One poster ASKed if he was announced because they didn't hear or remember him being named.
Come on man. It’s because of posters like you that make people not want to bring info they hear or discussion to the board. It was a simple question as to why he didn’t participate in senior day. I don’t see why people feel the need to mock or make fun of people who bring stuff to the board. You whine about people being trolls all the time. Heck you even started a thread questioning it.

You're joking. "because of posters like me"? Really? Who have I mocked? I merely stated that technically once you graduate you're not a senior anymore. Who have I made fun of? I did neither of those. I certainly didn't mock you. I know when I was a grad student I never thought of myself as a senior. I guess I never considered that I had athletic eligibility left. I try to be patient and reasonable with everybody.
In reviewing my earlier post I see where what I posted could be insensitive to some on this board. My apologies and I've edited out the smart assed attempt at humor.
I really like you Dingle, you bring good discussion to this board. I just don’t like it when you, and others question every single bit of info on this board with things like “I need a link” or “what is your source”. Of course they aren’t going to give up their source. It’s their way of trying to contribute. Nobody wants Frost to fail. That’s not it. They are bringing what they think is credible info and it seems like they get crapped on because of it. Noa was absolutely not honored Friday and I was just trying to find out if anyone knew why.
I don't think I ever ask for a link. I don't open them on here for good reason. When I see rumors posted as fact though that I think could be detrimental at a critical juncture such as close to a national signing day, I question the motives. Thanks for the job you do. The board is better for the job you guys do.
I didn’t say it was just you, but I did see you ask someone for a source the other day on info they heard. I just get sick of posters jumping on others for trying to give info or being labeled as trolls when that may not be their intent. Like I said in the thread you posted the other day, with the state of the program it has become very hard for us to distinguish troll posts from those that are innocent but seem like a troll.
That may be. But it was no secret that he was more than frustrated with the offense. With how mediocre our WR has been have to wonder if other teams are negatively recruiting against us. Hopefully we can land the kid from Miami even though he’s not a big body

He has to be disappointed in how his senior year went. I know we all are. The whole dynamic of a one year grad transfer I find kind of weird. Darrion was a little different with his brother on the team but still....
He had really started to play better and get more involved before his injury. Felt bad for him. Now he has message board guys making up rumors about him too.
