Wow is it nice to see a guy actually hold the ball and run for some yards. Did that happen once with GW last year?

Of course what is meant is a proper read on an RPO and not the designed GW runs where he just followed RB into the same hole.

On one play the defender hit Kaliakmanis instead of Monangai after he released the ball for Monangai. Kaliakmanis exceeded my expectation.

80 yard TD run vs BIG opponent was a read option. Gavin was a much better runner but AK is good enough and a much more accurate passer. At least for the short passes we threw. I suspect he can throw deep as well and we just held back. But that's also the Ciarocca Offense.

Run, run, run and hit open short passes. Move the chains. Keep D fresh.

We've all seen GW do it, and he was a strong runner who was tough as nails. But with AK we won't need many RPOs that end up with AK running. If he gets a couple of targets near the first down marker, and the OL is giving him protection, he can hit them. Or give it to Mr. Money. The fewer hits on AK the better.
