If tomlin was still head coach I would go hell yes for the trade as the steelers like their hard pounding running backs. But yes, Green Bay and the trade might give Kaleb more juice for this year. Short shelf life to even get to a 2nd big contract.

And I think their run blocking scheme is similar to the hawks

I wouldnt be so quick to blame the Steelers for his lack of playing time. The Iowa staff also had problems with Kaleb. This might be the wake up call he needs.

He got his shot, he just didn't take advantage of it. Early mistakes basically cast him to "afterthought" category. The muffed KO return and the fumble on his 2nd or 3rd carry as a pro relegated him.

Hopefully he does better in Green Bay. Also, kudos to whomever called this in another thread.

I guarantee you the Steelers gave him his chances. Problem was KJ didn’t take advantage.

I think he’ll get a chance to shine in GB. Similar offense to what he ran in college and I’m guessing LaFleur and TL had a convo about KJ before pulling the trigger.
