Anybody have any info on Kaleb Brown, the WR who came over from Ohio St.? He was concerned about OSU having too much depth at WR, and lack of playing time.

After one game? Grab a clue. Not going to do much different week 1.Doesnt matter who the receivers are with this stone-aged offense. Same ****, different year
Sure looks like the same crap in week 2. Maybe you ought to encourage BF and KF to “grab a clue” instead of meAfter one game? Grab a clue. Not going to do much different week 1.
So it’s BF & KF’s fault that the QB had multiple misses at WR’s/TE’s & that the TE’s run into each other? All of which would have added to the scores - both games? Yeah… you really need to go get a clue. Maybe go cheer for OSU where 50% of their players are 5 star players so you can have a fit when they don’t score over 23 points like their fan base did last week…Sure looks like the same crap in week 2. It’s on them to have a QB to make those throws. When was the last time a QB consistently made those throws to wide open people? Sounds like you making excuses for lack of offensive talent and consistency which does fall on the coaches in my opinion. I guess we are just destined to be s last 5% offense which relies on the defense to score TDs and win games. 7-5 or 8-4 here we come again! So it’s BF & KF’s fault that the QB had multiple misses at WR’s/TE’s & that the TE’s run into each other? Iowa's offense is an absolute " Clown Show".Some people would think that the nation's worst offense, now that it has several talented wide receivers, would have made getting them the ball a focal point. Not sly old KF and his pal BF. No sir. Instead, they keep using the TEs, which is fine, but not when it excludes throwing the ball deep to WRs. And, of course, KF complained that Iowa didn't know what mighty Utah State was going to do on defense, so the Hawkeyes were ill-prepared to unleash their running game. Even if there's some truth to that, it's a pretty lame excuse to use in public, IMHO. There are NO legitimate excuses for failing to run the ball at will against an outfit like Utah State. Plain and simple.
This joke of an "offense" was old years ago, and here we go again. Better QB? Check. Better WRs? Check. Better RBs? Check. Same old coaching philosophy? Check. Same failed OC? Check. Same OL? Check.
If 25 years of KF has taught us anything, it's that he hates offense, and he will NEVER change an approach that has been outdated for at least a decade, even with his son's job potentially on the line.
Nope… you’re the one making excuses for the players not executing the plays. Do the coaches own some? You bet. But your head is either in the sand or you don’t understand the game well enough to see the mistakes on the field. By your very definition, any and every loss is on the coach… it’s very obvious to me you’ve never coached beyond the 8th grade…It’s on them to have a QB to make those throws. Not sure they didn't find one in Keagan Johnson who had a nice rookie year at Iowa. Kansas St saw something in him after his injury plagued sophomore year. Missed their first game and caught 3 passes in their second and heard he is listed as day to day. Without injuries how good could he be?I'm always amazed that Iowa hasn't been able to find a Tavaun Smith, ISM, MO Brown, McNutt, Solomon, etc type receiver. Heck, Dom Douglas was doing dang good things before he got the boot.
Would you like to wager a $100 that we win ten games and the loser has to leave the board? You are not an asset. I’ll then donate your $100 to the swarm. It’s on them to have a QB to make those throws. When was the last time a QB consistently made those throws to wide open people? hard to keep them all happy when you only run 52 plays in a game, BF is responsible for some of the screw ups--Bill Snyder was a perfectionist with his offense and would run the same play in practice until it was run to his standard.Anybody have any info on Kaleb Brown, the WR who came over from Ohio St.?
