If we go ahead and close with class with Brooks and Todd, it’ll prolly be one of my personal favorites...Maxey, Whitney, Allen, Brooks and Todd.
MKG with a lot more O.Whitney has a MKG vibe imo.
Crazy how those could be first names. Whitney, Allen, Todd, Brook, and Max.
Is this Cals new recruiting style? Has Cal mastered recruiting so much that he’s now playing a game inside the game?
I call dibs on Mad Maxey Beyond Thunderdome and Kahlilling Me Softly.
He’s exciting and so is Brooks. They’d be quite a pair to watch here.Whitney has a MKG vibe imo.
More explosive athlete too. MKG has a huge wing span but his actual jumping ability wasn’t as high as you would’ve thought. He was just a super duper work horse.MKG with a lot more O.

He got sick of the hyphenated names and moved on to this. What’s next? Numeric?
I haven't seen as much of Brooks. Is Trey Lyles a good comparison? He’s exciting and so is Brooks. They’d be quite a pair to watch here.
Agree.People forget how great MKG was. He might have had the best handle of anyone to play here in Cal's tenure, was the best layup finisher we've had, and could guard 4-5 positions at an all American level.
I'm psyched for Kahlil Whitney, and he can be All SEC and a lottery pick, but slow down.

And the thing is I dont think that will just be the class. I think we will bring in one more big as if you consider Brooks a 3 we will still need either Mcdaniels or Hurt and I think we get one of them.If we go ahead and close with class with Brooks and Todd, it’ll prolly be one of my personal favorites...Maxey, Whitney, Allen, Brooks and Todd.

gonna be nice to have Keldon Johnson for a 2nd year.
Poythress, Knox and Charles Matthews come to mindHe will be the first #1 small forward to sign with UK since MKG.
I don't hate this comment but Whitney is much more bouncy than Keldon. I think Keldon is more polished though .gonna be nice to have Keldon Johnson for a 2nd year.
This times a million. MKG brought it every single night. He did everything he was asked to do. He was the most unstoppable fast break player Calipari has had. When you combine his dribbling along with his ability to finish... Watch out. I'm not an old timer; I've been watching UK for 30 years and he's my favorite player to ever play here. You stick him on every other single Calipari team and that team wins at least 1-2 more tournament games.People forget how great MKG was. Best finisher under Cal...or maybe ever at Kentucky.People forget how great MKG was. He might have had the best handle of anyone to play here in Cal's tenure, was the best layup finisher we've had, and could guard 4-5 positions at an all American level.

Whitney is taller, longer, much more skilled, and by all accounts rivals MKG’s on court intensity.Whitney has a MKG vibe imo.
