He’s going to get a bag on day one at NU.
The lack of transfers out so far suggests our bags are full of real money, too. Sounds like some kids at other schools are finding out those alleged bags are empty or non-existent — after enrolling and being stuck.

I just don’t get why DK would go to Mich St, who was supposedly expected to get Chiles from OSU to follow Smith. He’s young and likely to play over Kaelin so he won’t have a better chance at MSU either. JMO
Hurt feelings can lead to bad decisions. Unfortunately, signing day is in one week so not a lot of time to ponder alternatives. Realistically he has this weekend to take any trips or wait until second signing date in two months.

Sam Keller then sued over his likeness on the NCAA game, and thanks to his foresight we now have NIL.

He has had quite the impact in retrospect.
Yeah, he was definitely way ahead of his time.

He would've been a millionaire had he been playing now, looking to transfer.

Exactly.

MSU planning on taking a transfer and (2) HS QBs this class

DK should stay in the class but doubt he will

Rumored that he is trying to get some of his buddies to also OV with him

Imagine if it all goes to **** and next year's QB room is:

Haarberg
Woche
Longval
+1 portal scrub

That would just suck.
An unknown meteor could strike Earth and re-create the end of the dinosaur era, too. 😀 As for NU football, we have been irrelevant for over 20 years so I could handle a few more, if necessary.

As for the buddies, I’m guessing Raiola has a few buddies, too.

He is said to not be extremely close to the UGA class...didnt "bring" anyone with him

The other two great players on his Buford team are heading to FSU and tOSU

I only brought the DK thing up as something to watch...curious if he gets them to go

Hmmm. Not sure about your source, but I watched an hour or two of the Rivals UGA live YouTube stream on Monday and they said Raiola was a major recruiter in their 2024 class partially because he lives an hour from campus and was there often when recruits visited. (However, it is true that the other two major Buford recruits apparently are going elsewhere.) By contrast their other qb recruit lives in the Northeast and they said he wasn’t involved nearly as much.

So they were concerned about Raiola’s departure and its effect on recruits.

He was at the games, but didn't "bring" anyone

Also, no one in their class group chat was aware this was happening

I just would expect him to bring anyone with him

Not going to argue with you and your sources (whoever they are) that say Raiola wasn’t a big factor in recruiting, but I thought the Rivals UGA staff might know what they are talking about and they said he was very important to the current class. They stated that even if their other top qb recruit works out, he wasn’t very involved in recruiting this class.

I hate to see DK go. Kid recruited his *** off for us and did everything right. You wonder if he will try to sway some guys to decom that he helped recruit.
That's what I'm thinking. What happens if all the guys he recruited decide to bail as well.

This is a great point. Sounds like that Chiles could be heading to MSU as well. He is going to have to compete anywhere he goes, so why the sour grapes? If you are as good as you think you are, come learn for a year and then go try and win the battle.

They were, that is true

But with four P5 players on the team, they should have Bern able to handle anyone other than Westside...DK had a rough year
It all starts up front. I still think he’s the perfect fit to have in the system to develop. You’re not going to find many guys with his arm and IQ who would be willing to sit for 3 years. It almost has to be a Nebraska kid. If he goes he goes but I think it would be a short sighted mistake on his part. Just the opinion of a seasoned citizen with over 6 decades of accumulated wisdom from hundreds of bad decisions🥴

Maybe Kaelin is getting vibes from Nebraska that they’re not that excited about having him. Who knows.

Pop quiz: how many games did McMorris and Hall miss due to injury? (Hamstring, torn ucl/dislocated elbow)

Answer: at least 2, and 4 respectively, I believe that may have included some overlap. Could have easily flipped some early losses and had an 8-10 win season.

We’re gonna need another serviceable QB. McCord out, Raiola I’ll believe it when he signs (we evidently didn’t offer McCord enough)… unless They’re intent on starting a freshman, by math we’ll have one less ****** QB running the show that we had last year?

Why do they do this to us? It’s like dangling red meat in front of a starving Ethiopian. and then giving it to a fat person.

It’s not them. It’s you. I don’t believe for a second that money was an issue with McCord. I would have never believed he was going to play for NU until I saw he was in class next semester. This was clearly a case of premature gesticulation by the recruiting sites and Husker fans.

They ain’t following him around like a bunch of fan boys. When we lock down Raiola his buds are gonna be like ‘Alright’!!!
