An old GF of mine graduated from same HS as Juzang, Harvard Westlake, and it's exactly as it sounds - a rich kid, cushy, soft, entitled a high school as you will ever find. Not exactly an inner-city dog fight pit to incubate your game in.

Scroll back, I gave plenty.

And 1 title (thanks to AD). But by all means, celebrate those victories over Lamar and eastern.
You point out two guys that played under cal who came in as non shooters ...Matthew's was a great athlete Poole was about the same ,Baker was the only pure shooter you came up.with and he could not play D ,and cal ruined him badly cause he's been playing well at arizona !

Nerves! Juzang is in his own head, he will start hitting shots eventually. I still like him attacking the basket and his perimeter d.

Not only is he a freshmen, but he was a high school junior ranked in the 20-30 range who reclassified and committed to UK. It's not like he was a top 5 recruit expected to make an immediate impact as a reclassified player. How hard is this for fans to grasp?

Dodson, hood, poole, wiltjer, Mays, harrow, Willis, mulder, Matthews, briscoe, Brad, Baker, quade, hagans, sestina, juzang.....

Pointless to respond as the post is so asinine, but for SAG's...only including people who were known to be good shooters. Hood, Poole, Harrow, Matthews, Briscoe, Brad, Baker, Hagans, Sestina, Juzang Juzang shouldn't be discussed for a variety of reasons.

Dodson shot 35% from 3 in his one season here.

Wiltjer 39% in 2 seasons.

Willis 40% in 4 seasons.

Mulder 35% in 2 seasons.

Mays 37% in 1 season here...matched his overall career performance.

Quade 38% in a shade over 1 season.

All but Mulder (I rounded up) qualify for Top 50 All Time % at UK based off 25 attempts or more. Cal only has 17 of those guys.

I like his all around game / good rebounder but took me two looks at the J to see it is broke - shoots off palm of hand and doesn’t do the Pre-shot work to be able to be ready to shoot - then a super quick release that all but insures it’s not going in

Baker's defense helped win the NCAA tournament game against Wofford.

Juzang has definitely started in a shooting slump. It appears Cal has given him a complete green light to try to let him see a few go in. Juzang needs to be smart enough to only take "good" shots until he starts seeing a few go in. Seems like he is rushing when not very open, then almost aiming it and trying too hard when he is wide open. Just needs to catch a few and shoot in rythm. He will eventually get there. Needs to have a game of about 4 for 6 from 3pt to get a little confidence going.
