... yada yada yada ...
The “shere” (sheer) stupidity of this line of thinking amazes me on this board...
We had a new QB we anticipated could be a four year starter at this time LAST year (Lewis), yes there were multiple threads suggesting so...so he goes to a school with a heisman potential QB backed up by multiple 4* QBs behind him vs a school that hasn’t proven to produce a competent QB whether recruited or transferred in nearly a decade?
The kid will be playing in Sunday’s in 4 years regardless I think he made a solid decision based on where these programs are
This is where you not understanding. Just because a kid is highly rated doesn’t mean he is garenteed to be just as good as the guy he is replacing. I mean look at Miami, FSU last year, USC the all go 2 deep with 4 and 5 stars. Yet, the kids replacing the kids that started in front of them were nowhere near as good.
I think Penn st’s biggest loss is Barkley and their offensive coordinator. Pitt had Matt Canada 2 year ago and his offense was a machine at Pitt. He left and Narduzzi brought in a guy ( Watson ) to run Matt Canada’s offense. Well, their offense last year as absolutely horrible
You aren’t accounting for a couple of things...believe they only lost one starting OL to graduation and have recruited OL very well the last few years (probably have five future NfL draft picks starting this season) and they also replaced the OC with a guy who was already significantly involved in game planning and calling the plays on game day...did Nardog replace his OC with another one of his offensive assistants that was already partially responsible for calling plays and game planning? This is where you not understanding. From one fellow Rutgers alum to another...serious question, do you ever make contributions to the board that doesn’t involve making jokes about child molestation? It’s a bit disturbing is all...But shere, you just don't understand, THEY ARE Penn State, and they will just molest the opposition!
LOL! You seem like a pedophile lover to me. I can tell when we have a wolf in sheep's clothing on this board (e.g. RU31Trap type), and I'm calling you out. Looking at your recent postings, you love projecting how great untested PSU players are going to be, but when a Rutgers fan does likewise for someone like Sit, you blast them as being premature.
JCKnight - serious question for you - have YOU supported a pedophile today?
Why dont you take this crap somewhere else, you are obsessed.

Yeah, I wish it was shorter.odd thread
It’s not a moot point in that we desperately need a playmaker like Shorter to compliment Melton...Sit could be the next Marino but if he doesn’t have adequate weapons then what good is it?Well this thread certainly was an.......interesting read. I don't think Shorter could've gone wrong either way. From all i've read Sitkowski seems to have the potential to be a real player.
What you need to realize though is Shorter committed to PSU in August of 2016. Sitkowski didn't commit to Rutgers until over a full calendar year later in November of 2017. Shorter was a month away from signing his LOI to a school he had been committed to for 16 months. I'm not sure the reincarnation of Dan Marino would've convinced him to flip. Besides, there are a ton of factors a kid takes into consideration when making a college decision, and while who will be throwing him the ball is one of them, it is certainly not the only one. Idk, this whole discussion just kind of seems like a moot point, just thought i'd add my 2 cents.

He has one year with McSorely. Should have taken four with Sitkowski. Penn State is more likely to end up with a Hackenburg than what they have now. Michigan can't find a QB and many others. We have one. Shorter screwed up.
Bo Melton should be a good WR this season
Hunter Hayek should give good production coming out of the slot.
Eddie Lewis might show enough to make Ash give him more snaps and prove to be a reliable receiver and another deep threat even though he's a freshman.
I'm thinking Tyler Hayek might be in when RU's in the red zone and at 6-4 makes a good target He's supposed to have the handsShameen Jones might be the best WR this season for us.
