A Rutgers fan made a patently asinine comment about Justin Shorter.He said the best thing about Justin is his height.Todderick Hunt watched Shorter compete in Oregon,at the Opening Finals.He wrote that Shorter recorded a 40-yard dash in the 4.3 second range,at the Opening Finals,at 6-4-220.

He said Justin has great length,explosion,foot speed,hands,ability to run routes,beat press coverage,separate from the competition,and ultimately,make plays.

Shorter is a genetic freak.

Unfortunately for us we play him every year. The kid will possibly be a great source of frustration to our fan base.

A guy with his talent...from a high school in Rutgers backyard...and you expect RU fans to not be bitter about this guy picking Pedd State ?

He has one year with McSorely. Should have taken four with Sitkowski. Penn State is more likely to end up with a Hackenburg than what they have now. Michigan can't find a QB and many others. We have one. Shorter screwed up.

What was said just gives NitWits one more reason to whine about the way RU fans treat the pervert loving Happy Valley trash.
So nothing needs to be added and careingabout what Penn St fans cry about , isn't on my agenda.

But must admit HBO put out an excellent movie called Paterno, starring Academy Award-winning actor Al Pacino as Joe "The Enabler"
I find talking about that movie more worthwhile than replying to a whine about what some RU fan said about a Penn St recruit.

You know I've been beating the Sitkowski drum since day one. I think he'll be Connor Cook with mobility. Expect a lot of ints this year as he learns but what that kid can do with a football is real special. A sure thing. Shorter blew it.

I don’t think those things are mutually exclusive. Sitkowski will be good, I agree but Shorter will most likely be an American at Penn State and win more games there. You’re wearing your scarlet colored glasses. I couldn’t disagree more.

This has to be one of the dumbest post i have seen in awhile. Rutgers doesn't have a QB yet. They have a QB with potential that hasn't even taken a college snap. If you are going purely on high school stars like Sitkowski then Penn State is a better choice considering Penn State has 3 4 star QBs waiting to replace McSorely.

We hate them and we hate them more because they come to NJ and take who they want when they want BUT come on some comments are just crazy. Please go to a game there and experience the support those kids get from that fan base. 100G fans screaming and making a hell of an atmosphere. I’ve been there twice to watch us get destroyed by them. It’s truly an impressive place and there tailgate game dwarfs ours. 95% of them are in there seats at kickoff. They spend there money and support that team. Each seat is $100 minimum and they show up year in and year out. while many of us complain about parking prices and the lack of $100 season tickets and we want to compete with them somehow. How is that ever gonna happen?

I went to PSU last year. I hate that school and most of its fans with a passion, but there's no question the game atmosphere is on a completely different level than ours.

If you are going to accuse one of us of something then at least provide the source of the quote so we can accurately refute it...Shorter is a beast I think we can all agree on that...it’s just a shame he never really considered the team in his own backyard

Something is fishy in crappy valley. With the way they are recruiting. Wouldn’t surprise me if these kids are getting paid.

I mean if they covered up what went on up there for 30 years. Paying players shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Have you ever attended a game there? If not go in 2019 when we play them. Then you will see why they go to that school.

The “shere” (sheer) stupidity of this line of thinking amazes me on this board...

We had a new QB we anticipated could be a four year starter at this time LAST year (Lewis), yes there were multiple threads suggesting so...so he goes to a school with a heisman potential QB backed up by multiple 4* QBs behind him vs a school that hasn’t proven to produce a competent QB whether recruited or transferred in nearly a decade?

The kid will be playing in Sunday’s in 4 years regardless I think he made a solid decision based on where these programs are
