How convenient people ignore the fact that Powell to Kentucky simply might not happen because the SEC hasn’t passed a rule to allow inter-conference transfers so at this point he’d have to sit out a year. Unless the SEC changes this rule as the NCAA has done I see no way Powell comes here. I’ll get excited once I see a rule change

Sankey says he doesn’t care one way or the other. The member schools will vote for it. The ACC adopted it this past week.

Seems like it should be pretty simple. Too bad Cal will look for quite literally anyone else because he's from Kentucky.
Man that's just not so, you don't really believe that I hope , IF so I am going to call my buddy's in Graham, Bremen , Central City , Greenville Drakesboro, and Hughes-Kirk and last but not least Muhlenberg Central to talk to you lol !

Why do that when you can spin a conspiracy theory in your head about how Cal hates Kentuckians?

Well...I'm from Midland! I do, however, live in Greenville now.

Doesn’t fit the narrative they are pushing.

I don't think Cal puts a lot of stock into "he's from KY." You're good enough to play here or you're not.

Why transfer to a school just to sit the bench? Makes no sense, which is why it’s not going to happen.

I imagine it all depends on Boston (& maybe Clarke). If neither returns, unless there is a much better guy in the portal, then Cal offers him. But say NBA teams tell Boston, we aren't spending a 1st on you, so he decides to return, then I can't see Powell wanting to be behind Boston.

If Cal wants him, I hope he runs an offense that fits him. I don’t think he will be successful in Cal’s current/usual offense.

If Cal can bring Mintz back and sign Powell then he needs to spread the floor with shooters and play 4 out 1 in.

G Mintz
G Powell
G Allen
F Toppin
F Tshiebwe

Spread the floor, move the ball, create passing lanes, and get Big O one on one in the post.

Adapt to the players you have on the roster instead trying to make them fit to your style of play.

Many more of these stupid post like Mberg put out and I am going to deny having any connection to Muhlenberg Co. I remember when Muhlenberg Central was opened in Powderly
