Eh, I'm not being emotional at all.

I have no idea why Pope is striking out so often with these guys. If he is telling them they are only going to get 28 minutes a game, well, he gets what he deserves, which is a pink slip.

I am not sure if Pope is the right guy, none of us are. He never should have been hired, but in his 2 years, I have seen him do some damn good things, problem is, he follows those good tbings up with a stinker.

I'm just hoping he can do big things in 26/27, that's all.
I like Pope and I would be completely fine if he proves me wrong because I really like the guy. He’s a better bench coach than Calipari. He makes really good halftime adjustments in games too. I can’t figure out what the deal is with recruiting. If he just landed a couple of his top targets Pope would make it here, I believe. I just don’t think it’s possible to miss on so many of those guys with the way our conference recruits now. Several good teams and coaches in the SEC. To get back on top we have to have a coach that’s good at every aspect of being a college basketball coach, in my opinion.

We don't have dudes.

A roster with Zoom Diallo and Alex Wilkins as its best players isn't doing anything of consequence. It's not competing for a SEC regular season or postseason championship. It's not competing for a top 4 seed in the tournament. It'll be lucky to even make the tournament.

UK fans who actually have standards and understand ball are naturally upset and frustrated.

Folks like you aren't because, well, you're not very bright. And there are a lot of rumors that you have bad body odor too.
He’s a common FB type poster. Thry love to use that style post. “Oh but yall are never satisfied “.

And Pope adding him is not random. It’s not luck.
It’s not ‘oh cool, another shooter.’ NO.
This is Pope continuing his ANALYTICALLY‑SANCTIONED, SYNERGY‑APPROVED, GM‑BATTALION‑CERTIFIED MASTER PLAN to build the most efficient spot‑up army in the SEC!

Agree with all of that.

I have my critisisms of Pope and I have my doubts, but he is a good game coach and he has a good basketball mind, but he has a lot of things he needs to be better at. I hope he figures it out.

Every single player we hear assist percentage, points per possession, points per 40 minutes, stats when they play east of the Mississippi River, ppg when their mom watches the game in her lucky chair. My analytics tell me, these kinds of stats mean, you suck. Zoom diallo, and Alex Wilkins have over a 30% assist percentage!!! You know who else did? Sahvir wheeler! At Georgia AND at Kentucky. I guess that gives Calipari the green light to say without him being injured, we would win a championship.

I think the point is that they do a lot of good things as well as have that 30% A rate that many people may not realize.

We shouldn’t be trying to solve “puzzles” at Kentucky. Sign elite basketball players, then coach them into an elite team. If you can’t do both, take a hike. Simple as that. This program is loved and supported by way too many people to not put a competitive product on the floor year in and year out. And by competitive I don’t mean finishing middle of the pack in the SEC.
Who did that at UK year in and year out. I wanted to post you were stuck in the past, but when was that past. For a few years under Cal until other schools caught on and caught up? Under Rupp? For a couple of years under Pitino? Not really, unless Pope was elite. Or Nazr was elite. Nazr was a kid who could barely run down the flow as a senior. Was he elite?

Zoom is the downhill engine. Wilkins is the flamethrower. And Pope? Pope is the architect who takes two pieces everyone else overlooks and builds a machine out of them. This isn’t a team that sneaks into the tournament. This is a team that catches fire, wins 8 of 9 down the stretch, storms into the SEC race. This is the beginning of a magical, Pope‑crafted, GM BATTALION‑driven run that nobody sees coming until it’s too late! We are UK! Let’s all get behind Pope! You guys may not like this…but Pope is going to EARN a 4th year!
