He has slowly been building towards today. The kid has improved.
So many blasted him from game # 1 to now.
Eating crow isn’t sufficient to cover up how bad so many were so wrong.

We weren’t wrong. He was bad for a while. We are happy to see him have a couple good games and earn that starting spot he’s been gifted all year.
Wrong, he was terrible at the beginning of the year.
I have been saying for the past month that he's been playing well. It has taken him sometime and he still needs to drive more but he's come around. He's playing like a really good SF that can help his team a ton. Been great on defense as well.
His comfort level growing over the past month has been obvious. Maybe, just maybe, we'll have him at his peak in the tourney. Im very happy for the kid.
Hopefully it shuts up some of his haters on this board.
The one and done system has spoiled Kentucky fans. I remember a day when it took freshmen a minute.

He’s been really good as of late on offense and hasn’t forced anything. But the form has looked good and they’ve been going in. Just needs to match the effort on the boards and he can be a really really solid contributor.

4 rebounds in the 1st half is a good start for him!!!
If he can pull down 6-8/game, we are a different team because it keeps the opponent from getting so many 2nd chance points which has KILLED us in our 8 losses!!!

Proud of him for battling through his issues! He was unplayable a month ago and has really turned it on. Wagner on the other hand has regressed and gives us nothing

What was stupid was a lot of those ignorant fans giving up on a player as talented as Edwards.
I don’t think he would be at this point without playing time. Maybe the coaching staff knows something?

I’m super happy for the kid, he’s taken all kinda flack and just quietly went about his business. I hope he leads us to a big turnaround honestly because he deserves it.
I think Wagner isn’t 100%, he hasn’t been the same since his injury.
Of course they can, it’s just they don’t give the same effort every game. It’s like most Cal teams, they always win a game with their back against the wall. But no way this team should have more than 5 losses at most.
I have to give Cal credit for not giving up on him. Now, let's hope JE continues his improvement.
