We were involved with this player. He is a big that was a back up plan. Does anyone know if he is still available and if we are in contact?

I was not sure if there were eligibility issues or if he was looking for a better offer. He is a bit of a development player, but could slide in with a portal big and provide some minutes this year. If Cliff doesn't return, he might be called on for several minutes a game during the B1G season. Just thinking out loud.

Crazy he is still available. It's not like true talented big men are everywhere. Would like to see him at RU
@Scangg Bodo leads the Big South conference in offensive rebounding rate and is third in defensive rebounding. Top 50 nationally in block rate. Definitely not a featured part of their offense at all but he had 15 rebounds against Georgia.

I'd probably rather have him than Ogbole but he definitely wouldn't have been much of a contributor this year. However I do like the long-term potential. Possible portal target this offseason? Better to get him a year early than have him really pop off at High Point next year and go somewhere bigger.

Yup yup, that Myles Johnson feller sure did suck. As does that guy we have currently that is one of the top defensive centers in the country. RutgersChow strikes (
his head into a brick wall
) again.

Thanks for the update. Would have liked to see Rutgers land him. He would have been a good pair with Lathan bringing different bodies and skills to the table

Drexel's Amari Williams, a 6-10 senior center, is a player that's worth keeping an eye on. If he decides to use his extra Covid year as a grad transfer he is a solid player who will help a high major next season. He'll provide a nice 10-12 minutes a game. I have no idea if he is on Rutgers' radar.

For those who'd like to see him in action, Drexel is at Monmouth tonight. You can watch the game on SNY.

We are a Big Ten team. We can not compete with development players. Bring in players who are ballers. Players who can shoot. Players who can play through contact. Players who can physically compete in the Big Ten. Retain players who have demonstrated they can play and compete in the Big Ten.
